I keep having dreams I shouldn’t have my surgery. For those of you unaware, 5 years ago in college, I tore my meniscus playing soccer. It healed up for the most part, but I re-injured it sprinting on the treadmill about 7 months ago. I finally had my MRI and they said its definitely a torn meniscus. I had a cortisone shot and my knee is bearable now, but starts to get funny if I run a lot on it…I think after the shot wears off it will hurt much more.

Has anyone had this surgery?

How does your knee feel now?

I have of course googled it but I have no idea who these people are so what they say doesn’t count. Let me know if you have any tips before I chop my knee up into little pieces next Tuesday!

Josh’s brother had a torn meniscus and he had the surgery a few years ago. After doing a couple months of physical therapy after the surgery, his knee is now 100%. He surfs, snowboards…everything. So that should encourage you!
