Another weekend out of town, I really can’t sit still in San Diego for more than a week I am so bored with it lately. The problem with San Diego and anywhere I guess, is once you’ve seen one club, you’ve seen ‘em all. Same faces, same boring nights. Sometimes it’s fun, but mmm lately it’s been more fun to travel around. A few friends and I headed out to Scottsdale to visit a few other friends, which was fun because I hadn’t been to Scottsdale in over a year or so. Scottsdale is funny, the guys there are super weird, I guess they fit the stereotype everyone talks about. They totally think they’re sooooo cool just because they have money or are in the industry, but I that’s everywhere I guess.

We made the best of the weekend of course tho, we actually stayed in Friday night sleepy from travelling, but then spent the following Saturday shopping and exploring the bars. I swear if I day drink, I can nottttt drink at night but somehow I rallied and made it til I thiiiiink 12:30am? My friends tell me I have “Grandma Disease” haha I want to go to sleep every night by 12. Oh well, nothing good can possibly come from being out so late or drinking that much so I like going home early. I am obsessed with washing my face and putting on night creams, I actually get excited to go home and wash off my clown face. Anyway…

We went to some club called PCL it was cool, similar to a Sidebar type of place I guess… my girlfriend knew the owner’s who were super nice and made sure we had a fun night. I finally saw the Dom P glowing bottle, I have no idea when these came out, but I love the bottle it’s so bright and fun!

Sunday we slept in and decided to head home semi early around 2, we ate 58 fattening meals per usual and I paid for it in the gym just now. Overall a quick but fun weekend, Scottsdale is cool but eh not really worth going to unless you have a real reason to :)

A few of you asked about my dress in the pictures, it’s from Bebe of course, my go to dress store in case of an emergency. I packed a suitcase fulllllllll of clothes to last me a month and didn’t even open it. I am over every piece of clothing I own :( I bought this dress on a whim at the mall in Scottsdale, it’s ok, nothing super fab but it worked, I guess. I took the belt off and used one of my own, wasn’t feeling the thin blue one it came with.

    Nautical Stripe Belted Dress $119.00

The red lipstick I wore literally lasted all night. It’s Revlon Colorstay in “Forever Scarlet“. I prepped my lip with the red lip stain, re-coated it with a regular Revlon red lipstick “Really Red” and then finished it off with the ColorStay clear coat. I woke up the next morning with perfectly plump, still verrrrry red lips.

The best part of Arizona is the desert scenery, so pretty, especially during sunset of course.

Everyone knows waist belts are no new trend, but one things many girls don’t know, is how to wear a waist belt correctly. The biggest problem I think girl’s encounter when attempting this trend is not knowing where to place the belt. Waist belts are mostly worn at the smallest part of your waist, but some outfits allow the belt to move a bit lower. An important part of this all, is to keep in mind: To wear anything high waisted it helps to already have some what of a waist and butt, but even if you don’t, there are still ways to pull off this look.

Here are some tips and things to try/ avoid when bucking up:

    1. Select an outfit that allows a waist belt.

    2. If you are going for the high waisted look: Find the smallest part of your waist and plan the outfit around that point. Skirts, pants, shorts, whatever you decide to wear, should come up to this point perfectly. The belt should fit perfectly over where the two items meet. If it is a dress, disregard this step. As you can see below, both girls’ pants hit at the right point and a belt is used to blend the two pieces together.

    3. When you have a super flowy dress, and your body seems to get lost in the dress, a waist belt is the perfect solution. It creates a waist for you and gives your outfit extra personality.

One of my favorite songs right now, love love big boss Ross and of course Nicki. The songs been out for about 3 months now but I still love it :)

Now Playing: All she needs, a-a-a-a-all she needs is a boss on my level who provides her every need.

    Rick Ross -
In a world of so many, baby girl, you are that one
I deserve that, I deserve you

    [Nicki Minaj - Hook]
I’ll do anything that you say
    Anything cause you the boss
You the boss, you you you the boss man

    [Rick Ross - Verse 1]
Rozay a born stunna, I could blow money
50 when I’m shopping, that ain’t no money
I got my jeans saggin’, money stuffed in ‘em
I got 40 whips, way too much in ‘em
I need me a queen, I need me a dime
Living this fast life: just show me a sign
    I’m a G, Im-Im-Im-I’m a G, took her from the lame
Put her on that condo on that beach
All she needs, a-a-a-a-all she needs
Is a boss on my level who provides her every need
All I fiend is a queen in my presence
I can hold until I die a couple G’s in my bezel
    I’m a boss

I got the funniest text from one of my girlfriends the other night… “Can I suggest something for you to write about?” Of course I replied, I love when people suggest topics because well, I run out of things to talk about so it makes my life easier. Anyway, here was her text:

“Can you write about how many fake things are appropriate? For example: I want extensions, colored contacts, sometimes long nails like Rhianna, sometimes extra long eyelashes… if I ever got surgery (Which I wouldn’t) I’d want a nose job, an ass job, and ummm a tummy tuck! Lol but obviously that’s way too much so what’s the appropriate amount of fakeness at one time?”

I died at this text because if you saw her you’d be like huh? She’s sooo cute and naturally beautiful so I was caught off guard by her even asking all that BUT, here is my reply. Of course all of me wants to say natural is the best way to go, however I’d be a hypocrite if I said that. Being a girly girl, it’s inevitable … we’re going to want to play around with some fake things here and there, and in my opinion, a little extra help is fine as long as you still appear pretty natural. Key word being pretty. You can look done up a bit, but don’t over do it.

    Lets break it down further:

    1. Extensions: So you want extensions? Fine. But people shouldn’t be able to tell right away that you have a head full of fake hair. Girls with that long, fresh outta the package, pin straight hair? No. I love extensions, but get your hair cut professionally after getting them. Your extensions should look natural. Always buy real human hair, and be sure that your real hair and the extensions blend perfectly. (Color and length)

    2. Color contacts: Never. Too tacky, too fake, too weird. You’re not a celebrity at an award show, it’s just weird to me unless it’s for a themed party/ event. Brit has brown eyes and I remember her wearing blue contacts to an award show one year and wondering why. Idk just not my thing.

    3. Fake Eyelashes: I obviously love fake lashes, but again like the hair extension rule, people should only be able to tell if they are 1inch from your face. Anything too long or dramatic? No. And girls that wear the drug store eyelashes? Please make sure they fit your eyelid, so over seeing improper eyelash application. Cut them to fit your natural eyelash line if they are too long, and go easy on the mascara. The fake lash is dark enough, use the mascara to blend in your real lashes with the fake ones.

Ahh another weekend in Vegas has come and gone. This trip had no purpose really, we had been wanting to all go so we finally picked a weekend and just went. We usually fly Southwest but since I waited until the last minute to book it, Southwest flights were like $400 bucks. Vegas is cool and all to me, but not worth a $400 flight for a random weekend. My gf mentioned this Spirit airline and told me to check it out because it was cheaper so I did. Yes flights are cheaper, but you definitely get what you pay for with this nasty little airline.

Long story short, they are the worst airline EVER, ever, everrrrrr and I will never fly with them again. Not worth the saved two cents. Bad/clueless/missing staff, 2 hour delayed flight, strict baggage rules and charges if you go 1 lb over, the seats……. actually……… the entire plane, looked like it was from an airplane junkyard, worn down pleather, andddd they changed the gate on us 4 times! I also told one lady she must have no brain when she told me she didn’t know where our plane was and she replied, “Neither do you.” Oh perfect… apparently their cheap prices leave no extra money to properly train their staff on how to handle aggressive travelers like me. They will not be around much longer, the entire plane was furious, literally everyone yelling. Anyway, moving on…

And now for what you really want to know about… my outfit. Who would have guessed this little gold dress would cause such a stir, especially considering it was from Foreign Exchange at Fashion Valley. The dress is cool and all but to be honest, the necklace is what made it cute to me. Without the bling necklace this dress was super blah.

    LEATHER METALLIC CUTOUT DRESS $69.00

The necklace I wore is the “Amanda” necklace by Shop Belina. My favoriteee necklace, it makes everything cuter.

    Amanda Necklace- $32.00

The shoes were Bebe and they matched the gold perfectly.

    Mila Cutout Leather Sandal $160.00

    Now on sale for $118.00!

And when all 3 are combined… the finish product :)

Overall it was a really fun weekend. We stayed at my favoriteee hotel ever, The Cosmopolitan. On Friday night we went to Marquee and then Saturday night visited my good friend Moose who runs the entertainment at Haze to see Neyo perform. We sipped champagne right next to his table all night and then watched him perform, he’s sooo good live. I am going back next month for sure to see Nelly at the same place, can’t wait! If you stay at Cosmo I do have to insist you order their pizza from room service. They have a pizzeria inside the hotel and it was for sure the best pizza I’ve ever had. We ate it both nights for dinner and breakfast total pigs.

    Until the next adventure… xoxo

Whoa, Kim got $600,000 just to show up to TAO Nightclub in Las Vegas for NYE? Wild. Sorry to even write about her, but hello we all know the train wreck scenario, I can’t stop watching! Perhaps some of you think of me that way? Hahaha however you won’t find me marrying some dumb dumb basketball player I just met so whatever.

I think she looked awful on NYE, full on Kris Jenner mixed with Snooki. I feel like she got another nose job too, her face just looks so weird. She has lopsided fake lips, her boobs are hugeeeer (not in a cute way) than ever, her clip in bangs make me never, ever want bangs again, her fake hair is straight out tha bag, and that butt??? Ugh. No words :(

My favorite part of this all is that her mom tells everyone “No one has had any facial work done.” Riiiiight………. Proof girls need to leave their faces alone. She was way prettier 637 surgeries ago. Am I crazy or do you agree?

The new year is here and I couldn’t be more excited! Although the new year really isn’t any different than any other day on the calendar, it is a nice reminder that fresh starts are possible and today does motivate a lot of people to hit the reset button with the start of the new year. I hope that everyone had an amazing New Year’s Eve with all their favorite people! I sure did :)

I spent the night at The W Hotel here in San Diego of course with a handful of favorites. Wanting to not be a part of the glittery dress crew, I opted for the glamorous tuxedo look instead. It was super easy to put together, I even got crafty and made my own bow tie out of a fancy leather bow head band. Speaking of glamorous, how amazing is Ashley’s dress? Little brat in her pageant gown for NYE haha I loved it, we looked like bride and groom :)

For outfit info scroll to the bottom…

Our plans were to have dinner at Nobu inside of the Hard Rock Hotel… but yeah that didn’t work out so well. We fully got there, all 8 of us, ordered drinks, appetizers etc, laughing, taking pictures… I look down and I see the menu says $125.00 fixed menu. Obviously I am not about to eat $125.00 worth of food in my tiny skirt, so I ask the waitress for another menu. She tells us that we can not eat where we are sitting if we did not want to order off the fixed menu and that we would be moved to a hidden back room if we wanted to do that. I of course tell her she is insane, especially because half the table was ordering the fixed menu. Really Nobu? All 8 people have to order off the fixed menu to dine with you? We all decided that instead of dealing with their rudeness we would just go next door to Mary Jane’s and eat quesadilla’s for $6 dollars instead.

So we finish up our casual dinner at MJ’s and then head over to the W where we had a table. You know me, I do not like the scene and avoid it at all costs, so we decided The W would be perfect. I actually have gone here a few times for NYE and always have a blast. We drank champagne, squirted silly string and danced the night away. Pretty simple but perfect NYE!

Wondering what I’m wearing? I pretty much pieced together the entire outfit with some old items and a few new ones.

    * Blazer- Arden B., old.

    * Skirt- Forever 21, purchase here.

    * Button up blouse- Express. Can purchase anywhere tho, Nordstrom, Bebe, Forever 21…

    * Bow Tie- I made it :) It was a headband from Forever 21 but I ripped the bow off and looped it on some ribbon :)

    * Booties- Bebe, old.

    * Belt- Bebe, new. (Not online)

    * Earrings & Bangles- old, Bebe.

And that’s it! Overall a fabulous night. Fun with my gfs and the fact that Nelly re-tweeted me on Twitter just proves 2012 is going to be the best one yet hahah. Happy 2012 everyone! xoxo
