Summer is officially here June 21, so, why not start prepping your wardrobe now?! You can be sure to find me in lots of neons & nudes; After all, what else is Summer really for, if not for bronzed skin, over-sized shades, perfectly polished pink nails & sparkly sandals!? ☼
Last weekend, my baby cousin Austen got married here in San Diego and I wanted to share some pics! I procrastinated finding a dress until the very last minute, however, I found one that I really liked from Express the night before. The only problem was, the dress was made out of that thin, sheer material, which attracted stains like crazy. I literally spilled all over myself, the entire day, and by the end of the night I was covered in a million spots. First it was a lip gloss smudge, then my Whole Foods smoothie, followed by some spicy cashew seasoning.
I attempted to use some club soda to blot the stains out but, of course, I spilled the whole cup down the front of myself. I basically spent the entire day begging dry cleaners to help me spot treat certain areas and chasing down blow dryers at the front desk, but, other than that, the wedding was very pretty and a great time.
For anyone going to a wedding some time soon, I really loved the dress I wore; Despite easily staining, it was a great last minute purchase. Cute color, great length and a comfortable fit. It is also available in a hot purple, black, white, black & white polka dots, stripes, snakeskin and a teal. To view all of the colors, click here.

Kim Kardashian was spotted grabbing lunch at Hugo’s restaurant in Los Angeles earlier this week wearing a super cute, Alexandre Vauthier sleeveless turtleneck dress, paired with Azzedine Alaïa Spring 2009 python and bell sandals.
This outfit is super easy to recreate after finding these embellished black and gold Not Rated heels… simply pair any high collared LBD with these similar “Bloody Mary” Not Rated heels and you’re looking just as fab for a whole lot less.

Here in San Diego, it’s officially bikini season, then again, when is it not? I was browsing Victoria’s Secret the other day and loved their new ‘Bikini Mixer‘ feature… It basically allows you to create the bikini of your dreams, choosing your favorite cut and color, all custom to you, and for well under $100.00.
It was pretty fun to be able to click around and design them however I wanted, check out the ones I created! If you would like to create your own, you can visit their website here.

Isn’t it funny how every few months or so, a different Kardashian pops up with some dramatic new look? Lately Khloe has been the one in the limelight, receiving tons of attention for her post divorce weight loss. I can’t blame people for talking about her though, as I think she is looking great and I really love this outfit look!
My fabulous intern Kirstin and I took some Coachella inspired pictures this week for work, so, if you happen to be heading out to the festival, here are a few outfit inspirations! Coachella tends to be pretty hot, and considering you are roaming around all day, you’ll really want to be as comfy as possible when selecting an outfit.
My tips for actually enjoying the event, and not worrying about being uncomfortable, would be to:
- Wear light colors and light weight fabrics.
- Wear flats or a very comfortable wedge. Wearing comfortable shoes is probably the most important tip.
- Headbands are cute, but, mine annoyed me after just a few minutes and then messed up my hair.
- Opt for a more natural looking make up, paired with a fun, bold lip!
- Load up on accessories if you want to blend in, this festival is all about bangles, flower crowns, rings & statement necklaces.
- You will probably end up sitting in the grass, so wear something you can sit down in.
- Overall, you want to be cute, however, comfort at this event is essential.
-And now for some of our looks-

Today my girlfriend Kirstin and I headed Downtown to watch a local T.V. show film in the Fox Studios. Kirstin’s sister, Brooke, is actually a host for Fox Sports, so she invited us to visit behind the scenes to see how a few of their shows were filmed. It’s always fun to see what goes on behind the camera, especially at a network as large as Fox. The studio itself was super cool, check out the awesome view that overlooks Petco Park!

Scarves are always a super cute Fall accessory however, knowing how to tie one to get it to look the way you want can be a bit tricky. While it’s easy to toss one on and go, there are many different ways to wear a scarf that you may not know about, so I wanted to share a few tying tips for those who needed some scarf insight.
Seven Ways to Tie a Scarf
Once you choose the look you like, make sure that the style of scarf you have correlates with your desired look. For example if you want a real cozy look you will want to make sure to buy a nice and warm, thick scarf so it will bundle up nicely. If you want more of a color pop to brighten up your outfit with less warmth, you would choose a silkier, thinner scarf.
