    Ahh another weekend in Vegas has come and gone. This trip had no purpose really, we had been wanting to all go so we finally picked a weekend and just went. We usually fly Southwest but since I waited until the last minute to book it, Southwest flights were like $400 bucks. Vegas is cool and all to me, but not worth a $400 flight for a random weekend. My gf mentioned this Spirit airline and told me to check it out because it was cheaper so I did. Yes flights are cheaper, but you definitely get what you pay for with this nasty little airline.

    Long story short, they are the worst airline EVER, ever, everrrrrr and I will never fly with them again. Not worth the saved two cents. Bad/clueless/missing staff, 2 hour delayed flight, strict baggage rules and charges if you go 1 lb over, the seats……. actually……… the entire plane, looked like it was from an airplane junkyard, worn down pleather, andddd they changed the gate on us 4 times! I also told one lady she must have no brain when she told me she didn’t know where our plane was and she replied, “Neither do you.” Oh perfect… apparently their cheap prices leave no extra money to properly train their staff on how to handle aggressive travelers like me. They will not be around much longer, the entire plane was furious, literally everyone yelling. Anyway, moving on…

    And now for what you really want to know about… my outfit. Who would have guessed this little gold dress would cause such a stir, especially considering it was from Foreign Exchange at Fashion Valley. The dress is cool and all but to be honest, the necklace is what made it cute to me. Without the bling necklace this dress was super blah.

    LEATHER METALLIC CUTOUT DRESS $72.00

    The necklace I wore is the “Amanda” necklace by Shop Belina. My favoriteee necklace, it makes everything cuter.

    Amanda Necklace- $32.00

    The shoes were Bebe and they matched the gold perfectly.

    Mila Cutout Leather Sandal $160.00

    Now on sale for $118.00!

    And when all 3 are combined… the finish product :)

    Overall it was a really fun weekend. We stayed at my favoriteee hotel ever, The Cosmopolitan. On Friday night we went to Marquee and then Saturday night visited my good friend Moose who runs the entertainment at Haze to see Neyo perform. We sipped champagne right next to his table all night and then watched him perform, he’s sooo good live. I am going back next month for sure to see Nelly at the same place, can’t wait! If you stay at Cosmo I do have to insist you order their pizza from room service. They have a pizzeria inside the hotel and it was for sure the best pizza I’ve ever had. We ate it both nights for dinner and breakfast total pigs.

    Until the next adventure… xoxo

    I get sooo many emails asking “What do I wear to Vegas” so I think it’s about time I dedicate an entireee post to Vegas attire. I think in Vegas you can wear things you may not normally wear in your hometown, but I still like to keep it classy, if anything just up the fancy.

    The latest email I got was “What to Wear to a Vegas VIP Party.” If you are going to an actual event I would def. avoid anything super skanky. Here are a few good options to consider for your trip!

    1. Fun, flirty dresses.

    I love dresses, mostly because once you pick one, & your outfit is done. Toss on some cute heels, some jewelry and bam you’re done. The key to Vegas dresses is, like everything else in life, all about balance. If you want to wear a short, tight dress, skip the cleavage… Want to wear a low cut dress? Maybe go for something a bit longer.

    Mirror & Shine Dress $159.00

     METALLIC WRAP DRESS $32.00

    One-Shoulder Flower Lace Bodycon Dress $69.00

    2. Skirt & Blouse.

    If you can’t find a dress you love, opt for a cute fitted skirt and top instead. Now that color blocking is super popular, choose two bright fun colors and mix it up! I always stick to high waisted, fitted skirts, they just look dressier and of course are the most flattering.

    3. Rompers.

    Rompers are always a cute alternative to dresses or skirts, but make sure they fit you well. Rompers, and anything else for that matter, should only be worn if they flatter your shape. Baggy, loose rompers can be left at home. Bebe has so many cute ones out right now, I am loving both the pant rompers and short rompers. You can’t go wrong in a fitted romper.

    A few other things I don’t leave home without when heading to Vegas? Rhinestoned accessories, 4-5 inch heels, lots of make up ;) , fake eyelashes, a cute clutch and lots of fun jewelry. Bebe is my favorite place to go accessory shopping as they have some of the best glam jewelry in town.

    What items can you leave at home?

    * Cheap dresses that LOOK cheap, slinky material, fake satin materials, matching jewelry sets, tiaras, penis straws, wedges at night time, cotton dresses, saggy butt bikinis, shoes you can’t walk in, eyelashes you don’t know how to apply, orange highlights, stripper nails, hmmm think that’s it for now ;)

    Hope these tips helped, happy packing!

    MAGIC was last week in Las Vegas, and for those of you not sure what that is, MAGIC is basically a convention where all the major shoe and clothing companies go to show off next season’s products to buyers. Yes, an entire convention center fullllll of Spring 2012 trends. I went for Naughty Monkey, but had time to walk around and enjoy the other booths as well. As an exhibitor, you’re not allowed to enter other competitors booths, (They worry you will copy their designs), but I was still able to see just fine from outside the booths, you can see pretty much everything, just not close enough to take pictures. A few booths even let me in all the way ;) That was of course before I learned of the no entry rule oops.

    Anyway, so what trends did I discover? Well, nothing too new… like I mentioned before, shoe wise, we will continue to see chunky 70′s inspired shoes all the way into Spring 2012, and for this Fall? There will be lotsss of glitz and glam in shoes, and as always boots are where it’s at!

    I saw a few celebs, no one super cool though. Brody Jenner and his rocker girlfriend Avril Lavigne were there, and of course the Simmons sisters considering they own a shoe company. We went out one night and saw Guuuucccci Mane, I love him, and Angel from Holly’s World and I think that’s about it.

    I was lucky to have tons of girlfriends in town also working the show, so I got to work and play! I love Vegas, always so much fun. We stayed at Aria a few nights and then headed off to Wynn. Both amazing hotels. My friend got us a super nice Salon Suite at Wynn so we lived like Princess’ for a few nights. Lots of yummy room service, in room massages, champagne and a view of the Treasure Island pirate show each night. One night we stayed in and just enjoyed the room, had a slumber party on the couches and watched movies.

    Overall… a fabulous trip, got to check out tons of cute new trends, learned that Hello Kitty now has high heels, watched the Chargers beat the Cowboys in a cabana eating nachos, and spent QT with my faves. Life is good.

    The sun ruined this pic. It was sooo bright and hot there, over 100 every day.

    Places we went out at:

    * Saturday- TAO & XS

    * Sunday- Encore Beach Club day, Bank at night

    * Monday- Aria pool to relax, Marquee at night

    Enjoy the pics!

    I am seriously embarrassed to be a girl with all these Hot 100 bikini contests going on… I went to the one here at the SE Hotel in San Diego (only because it was a friends birthday ohhhkay) and it was incredibleeee, in an entertaining sort of way of course. I thought the San Diego one was bad until I saw the pictures from the Las Vegas one! Whoa.

    I don’t understand these contests, because they’re not even accurate at ALL as to who is the “hottest”. 90% of the girls who entered are disasters with lopsided boobs. Actually, now that I think about it, I should have entered, I guess to win 35k all it took was simply knowing enough people to vote for you. Nah, my dignity isn’t worth 35k. I can’t even imagine standing next to these things disguised as females.

    I don’t even know what is going on with the chick in blue, how are they ok with these boob jobs? I flip out if 1cm of my bang is crooked let alone my boobs? Then to put on a string and show the crooked things off??? Now I know why guys think girls are a joke.

    Ee-nie, meanie, mine-e, NO.

    Girl next door, almost… not quite. Who is making these hideous, skinny, weird sideways tops?

    “A” cup fake boobs. My fave. Another weird top, so what, did they all caravan to the stripper store together? Girrrrrl you get blue flowers and I’ll get brown glitter!

    Yep sorry girls, there are Vegas Pool shoe rules… After hitting up all the pool parties here in town, I’ve realized sooooo many girls have no idea what kind of shoes to wear to Vegas pool parties. One of the biggest, most common, mistakes girls make is wearing their actual clubbing/party shoes out to the pool. Can this work sometimes? Sure, but always? Um…no. It definitely takes a certain look and style to be able to pull off the celebrity pool look.

    Besides, clubs and pools are two totally different environments, your shoes should coordinate accordingly. Black stilettos? Not really a pool shoe. Boots? DEF not a pool shoe. I have seen girls in anything from 5 inch spike heels to 1 inch tall boots. 1 inch tall boots are not for anywhere other than a chilly Fall day, so I have no idea why anyone would be wearing a boot to a Vegas pool anyway, whole nother post….

    There are of course exceptions to every rule, the exception here? If you can pull of the celebrity pool look without looking like you are overly trying. So many girls try and pull off this look but it simply just doesn’t work. They toss on a random bikini and mis-match spiked heel thinking the heel completes the outfit. No. Make sure the bikini, hair, outfit, make up, and shoe all coordinate and flow together.

    I officially started my new job today and am so excited to tell you all about it! I am now working as a VIP Host for all of TAO Group’s venues and also will be teaming up with their online marketing team to creatively network their already amazing events. TAO has always been a long time favorite of mine, and this opportunity will definitely be so much fun! I can’t wait to learn the in’s and out’s of Vegas the same way I learned San Diego’s, and overall to just have an awesome Summer.

    Anyone who knows about TAO, knows it’s reliable fun. Every time I go there I see tons of celebs and loveeee dancing in their hip hop room until I drip sweat ahha. Some of today’s biggest celebrities only host their events at TAO, especially my favorites, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton etc ;) Can’t wait to share some crazy stories and pictures with you guys from now on about all the fun events TAO is having.

    Did you also know that TAO is the number one grossing restaurant in the US (Yes the food is thattt good and yes it really is #1!) You gotta try it if you haven’t yet. I love their Chilean sea bass skewers, veggie spring rolls, and.. and… and, yum everythingggg. Not to mention the restaurant itself has the some of the coolest decors in Vegas.

    Anyway long story short, or kinda short … When you’re in Vegas make sure you email me to see what fun events TAO has in store! I can add anyone to the guest lists and make all dinner/ bottle service reservations you may need at any of our venues:

    * TAO Restaurant

    * TAO Nightclub

    * LAVO Restaurant

    * LAVO Nightclub

    * TAO Beach

    Please click on each venue to learn more about them, their hours, and dress codes! I LOVE TAO Beach for daytime fun… one of Vegas’ top pool parties for sure, and I of course always, always have so much fun at TAO Nightclub. I of course can also help you get set up at other venues so email me for any and all Vegas questions!
