I hate lengthy reviews so I will try to make this one short, sweet & simple.

Property: Probably the prettiest hotel I have stayed at to date and I’ve stayed at a lot of pretty ones in and out of the US. The Montage is plopped right smack dab on the coast in Laguna Beach, you go to sleep listening to the waves crashing.

Service: They go out of their way to make your stay amazing. Park your car in valet? They wash it while you’re in the hotel, leaving it spic and span whenever you use it next.

Rooms: They rooms are prettyyyyyyyy and cozy. Plus the balconies that overlook the beach make the rooms that much more amazing. Nothing makes me happier than a giant fruit bowl on the balcony for breakfast.

Cost: The price of a room ranges from about $550.00 per night up to about $1,500.00 per night depending on what you get, suite, ocean front etc… Pricey I know but again worth it, especially if it’s a special occasion.

Pool: Their pool is superrrr pretty and they have tons of fruity, fun cocktails to sip on while sunbathing. It’s right on the beach and usually not super busy, however I’m sure it’ll fill up in the warmer months.

Spa: Their spa is amazing as well. I had a massage and facial and wanted both to last forever. The facial was better than the massage though if you have to pick just one. She used a ton of tropical smelling, all natural products on my face leaving my skin refreshed and relaxed.

Inside the spa there is a steam room and sauna, tea and snack area (my fave) and giant jacuzzi tub with outdoor showers. Definitely could spend hours in the spa!

Overall The Montage is such a prettttty hotel to visit both day and night! Laguna Beach is such a cute city to explore as well, I discovered my new favorite snack spot while visiting this week. Goko Cafe has the most delicious veggie pitas I’ve everrrrrrrrrrrrr hadI ate them 2 days in a row and would have a 3rd if given the chance, if you’re in Laguna you haveeeeee to check it out!

Next time you need a new, fun place to stay in San Diego definitely check out La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla. Old school hotel but still so nice, plus it’s PINK! There are also so many cute little shops and restaurants to walk around to around the hotel. One restaurant we loved was Azul La Jolla. Azul is owned by the same people that own the Brigatine and Miguel’s in case those are 2 of your faves

Instead of ordering actual entrees we ordered yummy champagne cocktails and a million side orders. Perfect meal. In need of an awesome date location? This place was super fun and delicious. Just avoid the waitress with the pony tail, she was mean. She was probably mean because I asked for sweet champagne and when she brought me dry, gross champagne I sent it back oopsie.

Anyway, La Jolla definitely is somewhere you can go and explore tons of new things. The seals are really fun to watch, the waves were huge this weekend, the sunsets were pretty and pink, and like I said tons of bars, restaurants and shops to visit. Next date night try La Jolla!

If I were coming to San Diego this is where I would stay. Its almost brand new, it has an awesome “Rehab” inspired pool party every Summer Sunday called “Intervention”, the staff is hotttt (Hi Meg & Erin!) The rooms are all super funky and fun and the best part is you can walk to anywhere Downtown.You can also just hangout at the hotel because they have a Nobu Sushi INSIDE the hotel, an awesome rooftop bar with fire pits and waitresses in bikinis, or a downstairs lounge/club with girls in short dresses and sassy boots. Win win situation

2. Ivy Hotel

The Ivy is another super new, trendy hotel. All guests can receive Escalade services, party in either one of their clubs, (rooftop or downstairs club) and again they have a hot staff dressed in all white bikinis! Ivy also has crazy costume dancers that dance on the bar tops, it’s entertaining to say the least. Just make sure you ask for access to the rooftop bar as a guest, otherwise you will be waiting forever! The pool is nice and relaxing has a vacation type of feel to it. Hard Rock’s pool definitley has more of a party feel.
