Bravada Launch Party in LA, Hosted by Kim Kardashian

So the time has come, tomorrow I finallyyyy get to attend an event Kim Kardashian is hosting! I loveee Kim but I really don’t get super worked up seeing celebs, I wonder how it will be seeing her in person? I’ve met Khloe, so I am sure it will be pretty much the same, she was super nice. I am more excited about the actual event if anything, Muscle Flex is one of my favorite lines of workout clothing, and to celebrate the launch of their huge new workout line, Kim Kardashian, who endorses their products as well, will be hosting their party. Kim also loves Bravada workout gear so the event should be a blast.

The event is being held at the Grove in LA, I can’t wait to see the new items and report back my favorites, anddd I really hope I get a pic with Kim, fingers crossed!

Brunch at Beverly Glen Deli With Paris Hilton

Sooo funny, yesterday we went to breakfast in Beverly Glen at Beverly Glen Deli, and while I was ordering I thought I saw Nikki Hilton fly by me heading to her car. Since we had just seen the Hilton’s parents the night before at Boa, I never guessed we’d run into them yet again, especially since we were at a super small Jewish cafe, not trendy at alllll, but we did! Paris and Nikki Hilton ate lunch at the same place as us yesterday, at the same time. It was crazy because no one really bothered them at all, they ate a normal, peaceful lunch and went on with their day.

At one point I went to the bathroom and passed their table but I was too shy to look, I didn’t want to seem like a total stalker. (Even though I really wish I had my I-phone to take a pic ) Apparently the guys I was with say the girls eat there all the time, so if you wanna get a glimpse of Paris, Beverly Glen Deli might just be the spot! Too bad I wasn’t with Arika, Paris would have for sure stopped to say hi.

Even though Beverly Glen Deli is a super small cafe, they have amaazzinnng food. A definite place to swing by if you are in the Beverly Hills area. They have the best cinnamon french toast ever (I tried a little bite) and I had the veggie wrap, super fresh and healthy. Overall a celebrity filled weekend… I really am not celebrity obsessed I swear, butttt it is interesting to see them out and about on a normal day.

Need a Getaway? Le Parker Méridien in Palm Springs

Last week I worked an event in Palm Springs, CA which gave me the chance to explore a new city. For all you San Diegans, Palm Springs is super close (2hr drive) and a perfect place to dash off to for a quick getaway. There is so much to do out there, tons of fun restaurant and hotels to visit. If you can handle the slow drivers (Everyone that lives there is 80+) then it’s a great place for a quick and easy weekend vacation.

My favorite part of the Palm Springs weekend was a hotel called Le Parker Méridien. As soon as I pulled into the hotel I fell in love. All the valet boys sport PINK sports coats, blazers and pants!

My Valentine’s Weekend ♥ At La Valencia Hotel

So I told you guys I would have a Valentine this year and I had to let you know that I kept my word Perfect Valentine’s weekend filled with yummy food, champagne, candy and pretty sunsets… I had such a fun weekend! I stayed in La Jolla at the La Valencia Hotel and I had a blast exploring the La Jolla tide pools, caves, coves, seals and amazing hotel! My parents had their wedding reception at this hotel so I was excited to see the area. I thought I’d share a few of the awesome pics. (Thanks Mom for the camera, I know you want the credit!)

Next time you need a new, fun place to stay in San Diego definitely check out La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla. Old school hotel but still so nice, plus it’s PINK! There are also so many cute little shops and restaurants to walk around to around the hotel. One restaurant we loved was Azul La Jolla. Azul is owned by the same people that own the Brigatine and Miguel’s in case those are 2 of your faves

Instead of ordering actual entrees we ordered yummy champagne cocktails and a million side orders. Perfect meal. In need of an awesome date location? This place was super fun and delicious. Just avoid the waitress with the pony tail, she was mean. She was probably mean because I asked for sweet champagne and when she brought me dry, gross champagne I sent it back oopsie.

Anyway, La Jolla definitely is somewhere you can go and explore tons of new things. The seals are really fun to watch, the waves were huge this weekend, the sunsets were pretty and pink, and like I said tons of bars, restaurants and shops to visit. Next date night try La Jolla!

Ice Skating At The Hotel Del in Coronado, CA

So if you don’t already know, Hotel Del is a huge fancy hotel here in San Diego, CA. It is located in Coronado and is a great spot for dates, so me and my man, aka Erin, headed out there to check out their beach front ice skating rink! So cute and sounded like so much fun, however, I have a confession… Erin & I totally went with the intentions of ice skating, buttttt by the time we validated our parking (At the bar of course) it was already 8:20 and it closed at 9:00, so we decided against it.

We weren’t paying $25 bucks to skate on a 2 inch rink for 30 minutes. We were both happy with our choice, it was soooo soooo cold out and the ice looked miserable plus the rink was tiny. If you are looking to just ice skate I would not suggest Coronado, DT is probably better. But, if you want to skate for a bit and run around and take cute pictures then it is worth the drive.

I decided to give you the pros and cons of the Coronado rink.

Cons: * $25 dollars for 2 hours, no one would skate for 2 hours so…. kinda annoying price wise.

* Smalllll rink, maybe holds 50 people. You can also almost see the wood coming through the rink, but we did go late at night before they closed, could be better during the day.

Pros:

* Would be perfect during the day or at sunset time because it is right on the beach, cuteee pics. Night time was not nearly as cool, I would go at around 5pm, ice skate, take pics during day light, then stick around for dinner and night time pictures around with all the pretty lights.

* Hotel Del is an amazing venue on its own. We took so many cute pictures! The entire hotel is decorated so cute!

* Tons of restaurants and bars to make an entire night of it. Overall we had so much fun just walking around, taking Christmas tree pictures and watching people eat it on the ice while we sipped on glasses of champagne. Definitely recommend dinner or drinks at the Hotel Del at this time of year, its so festive and soooo fun… and try ice skating if you’re up for it

Happy Holidays!

The holidays are officially here! Enjoy your weekend with family & friends! Just wanted to say Happy Holidays to all my favorite people in the world

And on a side note, there are tons of Holiday things to do here in San Diego! I am going to go ice skating in Coronado with friends, I can’t wait! Here are a few other things that seem really fun if you are looking for things/ dates to do!

1. Ice Skating at Hotel Del Coronado- Coronado is sooo cute during Christmas time, a must do date. Sorry boys, lace up the skates and have fun on this ice rink, hey at least it has an ocean view!

2. Poinsettia Bowl Battle of the Bands- Tons of high school and college bands will march the streets of Downtown San Diego to perform.

3. Del Mar Holiday of Lights- What is more fun than seeing all the cute holiday lights!? The Del Mar Fair is the largest animated, drive thru light show on the West Coast! If you really want to annoy your boyfriend, take him on a holiday hay ride klasjdsakdl.

4. The world’s largest LEGO Christmas Tree will be shining at LEGOLAND and one lucky guest will get to light the tree each day. They will also being shooting off fireworks each evening between Christmas and New Years.

5. Keep your eye out when driving along I-5 for the largest Christmas tree in Southern California at Sea World. They too have a number of events to celebrate the holidays.

6. The most picturesque holiday light display will arguably be at the San Diego Botanic Gardens in Encinitas. Over 100,000 lights will glow throughout the gardens. Starting on December 10th, the Gardens will be open until 9PM and will feature a different live music performance each evening.

Wednesday Fun!? Sure Sidebar!

Sidebar, located Downtown San Diego, has been around for a hot minute or two, but with its recent remodel has definitely upgrade itself. I never was a huge fan of the place, but they did a few things right, hired hotter staff (Brookie & Saddaf to name a few ) and remodeled the entire inside. Last night I rolled out with Erin who works at Hard Rock here, we always have the BEST time. We really do cause so much trouble together but I like it.

Sidebar is known for being a blast on Wednesday nights, and to be honest, the only place worth getting dolled up for on a random week night here in SD. So if you are in town, looking for the best place to hit up on a Wednesday, check it out you will have a great time guaranteed.

My only complaint was it was FREEZING outside but roasting inside. I loveeee heat but it was a bit too hot so bring something warm for outside but removable inside! It felt like a Summer day in there so my long sleeves were a nightmare. Oh another bonus, how could I possibly forget… CIROS’ is attached to this place. Ciro’s for those of you who don’t know is the yumyumuyummiest pizza in San Diego. I am not sure who Erin’s friend was that took us there but he got us a whole pizza hahaha we were in fat girl heaven.

Oh and the Chargers were there too poppin bottles like there was no tomorrow, in case you needed another reason why Sidebar is so kewl hey at least they were out on a Wednesday and not a Saturday right? Overall a fab night!

Crazy Past Few Days…

I have been so MIA, sorry. Wild week. 2 crazy car incidents, broken timing belt causing in brake failure on the freeway…cool. Then today a drunk driver fell asleep on a hill, didn’t put his car’s E brake on, and rolled into traffic on Friars Road. Who’s car was 2 seconds away from smashing into his? You guessed it. Mine. Someone lock me up. Fashion show is tomorrow. More fashion shows and X-mas party with sissy on Sunday, and hopefully back to normal on Monday. Sorry I know you all miss me Be back soon, hope to see you tomorrow!!!
