Queen B is on the July cover of Dazed & Confused magazine, a London based fashion & music magazine, and boyyyy does she look fieeeerce.  The July Summer music special features Beyoncé in a scorching hot trailer park fantasy, wearing bespoke outfits by Tom Ford, Riccardo Tisci, Gareth PughHaider Ackermann, Stefano Pilati and Marc Jacobs. Love loveee all the pics!

She makes me want to go blonde again… such cute blonde hair and contrasting, bright, Summery make up! What are your thoughts on bright teal liner/shadow? I don’t think just anyone can toss it on, I think it requires planning, the right hair, lip shade, outfit style, etc. but definitely do able with practice.

Looking for some fun liners to play with to get these looks?

24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil spring shades ($18) – teal, purple, gold, yellow, silver, tons to choose from!

Or try out a simple bright blue shadow. MAC’s Electric Eel is a pretty bright royal blue, perfect for this trial.

Some tips if you do make the teal eyeliner plunge?

    * Wear with any variety of a pink lip

    * Looks nice against bronzed skin to see the contrast, but can be worn on all shades!

Have fun playing around, send me some pics!

I loveeee smokey eye make up, it’s pretty much my go to look every time I am looking to get glammed up. Sometimes I like to toss in a few different colors to spice it up and lately I have been loving MAC’s Coppering underneath a basic black smokey eye. Such a fun way to brighten up your eyes, especially in Summer months!

The products used for this look are:

Basic instructions on how to try out this look:

    1. Start with Smashbox as a concealer/primer for your eye lids. This helps the shadow stick!

    2. Dust MAC’s mineralize powder over the Smashbox concealer with a big fluffy brush to leave you with a dry work area.

    3. Apply a thin layer of MAC’s paint over your entire eye lid. This helps the shadow to not crease or smudge.

    4. Start with MAC’s Coppering eyeshadow in your crease, blend upward towards eyebrow, but not all the way up. I didn’t use any white shadow here, I just let the MAC paint serve as one. (Only put Coppering in the crease and above, do not put on actual lid where the black is.)

    5. Once you have a nice Coppering base in your crease, apply MAC’s Carbon onto your entire lid. This means from eyelashes to crease. Blend the Carbon slightly into Coppering.

    6. I finish with a liquid black eyeliner across the top lash line only, followed then by mascara of course.

    7. I line the underneath of my eye with a thin shadow brush and Carbon eye shadow again. The key to not making eyes appear smaller is to only line a bit of the underneath. When you line the entire underneath, it closes off the eye, making it look smaller than it is!

I know these aren’t amazing instructions, (Too lazy to make a video) but you should be able to give it a go and practice this look at home! Leave a comment with any questions and I will reply here!

I think my favorite part of stalking celebrities, is to see the new and different looks they step out in. I love following Kim because she always mixes it up and isn’t afraid to try new things. It makes me want to start mixing up my looks more often. I love her look here. The dark hair, gold earrings, the side part, gold top, red lips, light eye make up… I feel like I look super Latina when I wear red lips, but oh well, that’s half the fun of make up, changing looks right?

Thoughts on Kim’s make up? Don’t worry, I already know the pants are terrible :(

Eyebrows are such a tricky part of the getting ready process. There is definitely a fine line between simply defining the brows and over defining them. I’ve gone through sooo many different methods… both pencils and shadows, but I finally found a combo I like the best. My brows are far from perfect, but I found that using both a shadow and pencil works the best for me.

The two products I currently use for my brows are:

    1. MAC’s Eyebrow Pencil in Lingering.

    2. Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Brunette. Apply using a Brow Filler Brush
I do eyebrows very last… I use the Anastasia filler shadow to define and darken the entire brow, and then the MAC pencil for hard to reach areas like the start of the brow. The trick is staying within your natural shape, and not drawing on one of your own. I also brush it out a bit with an eyebrow brush at the end, to prevent it from looking too crayon like. You can of course adjust the amount you apply, less for a more natural look and more for a more done up look.

Anyone else have any favorite eyebrow methods I should try out?

Lips: Lined with MAC Dervish, Lipstick Love Lorn. New daily favorite.

Mila Kunis isn’t my favorite actress ever since she played the evil girl in Black Swan, however… I am lovin her look at this year’s SAG Awards. I found some tips on how to create the look on your own, I think it’s such a cute look for upcoming Valentine’s Day dates ;)

    How to Get Mila’s Hair

To get Mila’s glamazon waves, celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak applied Tresemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse to Mila’s wet hair. After parting it slightly off-center, she then blew it dry with a medium-sized round brush.

Next, Roszak sectioned off the hair, and used a one-inch barrel curling iron. When finished, she broke up the curls with her fingertips to create those stunning, effortless waves.

Lastly, Mila’s hair was sprayed all over with Tresemmé Tres Two Extra Hold Hair Spray to ensure that her chic style would last throughout the night.

    For Mila’s Make Up

Lancôme makeup artist Tracey Levy was inspired to give her a dramatic look that would complement her amazing red gown:

Face: Levy started by using Teint Miracle Lit-from-Within Makeup to create a flawless base, then swept Blush Subtil in Sheer Amourose on the apples of Mila’s cheeks for a fresh, rosy glow.

Eyes: Mila’s eyes were the focal point of the look — and Levy made sure they stood out by layering two different shadows. She applied both Color Design 5 Pan Palette in Midnight Rush and Color Design Eye Shadow in Volcano to Mila’s lid for a smoky effect, and then lined both her top and bottom rims with Le Crayon Khôl EyeLiner in Black.

For lush lashes, Levy followed up with two coats of Hypnôse Drama Mascara in Excessive Black.

Lips: Levy applied L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick in Rich Cashmere and La Laque Fever Lipshine in Hotness.

Congrats to Korres MONOI OIL Natural Bronzer for winning my BRONZE OFF! I had several companies send me their latest and greatest bronzers in attempt to choose one bronze-aliscious winner and out of tons and tonssss, my hands down favorite was Korres Natural Bronzer in Sunglow Warm.

Before my Bronze Off, I was having SUCH a hard time finding a bronzer that worked with my face foundation. For some reason I kept getting a crazy, murky bronzer build up which resulted in me having to do my face make up TWICE every night. I have no idea why it would work the second time and not the first, but the point is it was ruining my life!

Kiss my murky mug goodbye because Korres solved my problem. Their natural bronzer is perfect!

Reasons I loveeee ♥ Korres Monoi Oil Bronzer:

    * Great color- very wam, not orange, a perfect bronzed contrast color. Great for cheeks only or for an all over sun-kissed look.

    * Build-able Coverage- Applies flawlessly and allows you to create the darkness you want. Add more, add less, up to you!

    * Incredibly user friendly, entirely fool proof unlike most bronzers which can mess up your make up causing you to have to restart your make up.

    * All natural ingredients!

    MONOI OIL

    Bronzing Powder $28.00

Korres also has tons and tonssss of other amazing natural beauty products. To visit their website please click here.

Soooo I never thought I would see the day I put my spray tanning machine away, but the time has come. I have had a crazy cough honestly since I’ve used the thing, and even though I’m not sure that caused it, I’ve decided to hold off on it for a bit. Anyway, the thought of no tan left me in a panic… I can’t be pale, so what’s a girl to do? My mom, being an avid Sunless Tanner, suggested Hawaiian Tropic Island Radiance Self Tanner so off to CVS I went to test it out. I was vvvvvvvery skeptical to try it out, I didn’t think anything could come match the custom spray tans I was used to, but let me tell you, this stuff DID! I love it!

Here are my PRO vs CONS:

    PROs:

    * Love the color. I bought the “MEDIUM DARK” which is almost as dark as my spray tan. Much darker than most Sunless Tanners I have used before.

    * The tan lasted much longer than my spray tan and faded much more gradually as well. No pale patches, fades lighter all over.

    * MUCH safer than Airbrush Tanning. The FDA only approved sunless tanners for TOPICAL use. Airbrush Tanning solution is NOT FDA approved to be inhaled. Inhalation of sunless tanning solution can cause numerous problems, many of which I personally have experienced as side effects of tanning.

    * Develops over night. I applied it to my pale legs thinking I would need a few coats but it tanned them enough after just one night!

    * Affordable. Only $13 bucks at any drug store.

    CONs:

    * The lotion is a bit sticky after applying, so I can only wear it before bed. The thought of putting jeans on after applying was painful. It took about 1 hour to fully dry.

    * Streaks are inevitable with lotion because it applies clear. Hard to see what areas are covered however nothing came out too streaky when I rubbed it in thoroughly.

    * The hands are tricky because you want tan hands, but have to wash off the bottoms after applying. To avoid this I pre-wet a towel with a bit of soap, applied the lotion all over my hands and then used the towel to only wipe off the bottoms of the hands.

    * A bit stinkier than the Airbrush Tan I am used to.

Overall, if I had to pick a method that applied easier and prettier, I would definitely choose an Airbrush Tanning machine, however with all my lung problems, I am forced to settle for a lotion for now. This Hawaiian Tropic Sunless Tanning Lotion didn’t finish too far behind so I can’t say I’m too disappointed. Happier lungs and tan skin? Win win :)

    Final Grade: B+
