With a title like that I am sure you’re left thinking ya right, but no really… with this product, you really can erase wrinkles in 60 seconds! Is it permanent? No, but hey, neither is Botox. Does it work? Yes. It works great for both men and women. They like to think of it as Botox on a budget considering this product is only $19.95.

Click here to see actual videos of it working. You can literally watch the wrinkles disappear! There are before and after pictures as well.

Gone In 60 Seconds AminoGenesis Skin Care

This is a super cool product for girls to wear underneath their make up to avoid those annoying make up cracks or build up in wrinkly areas. I don’t have aggressive wrinkles by any means but this product definitely firms the skin in problem areas and left me with a much smoother appearance. Basically Botox in a bottle :)

Give the product 15 seconds and it will give you 15 years! Gone In 60 Seconds is a powerful formula that activates on contact to visibly erase fine lines and deep wrinkles in just seconds! Why put yourself through the expense and hazards of botulinium injections for short term results? A scientific blend of oxygenating peptides, micro-collagen and firming proteins tightens, firms and reduces puffiness all day long. It’s like having a temporary face-lift in a bottle!

Perfecting Your Eyebrows

I have been noticing people’s eyebrows lately…. Mostly girls… It really is hard to get a good brow you’re happy with, but I am finally pretty happy with mine. I thought mine were ok, but after having them threaded the technician suggested I grow mine out a bit more in the middle to give them a fuller look. It was miserableeee growing them out, but soooo worth it. My brows are much better now ;)

So, with that being said, I think every girl, and their tiny eyebrows, need to go through the ugly duckling phase and grow their eyebrows out. Once you do, go see Heidi downtown at Urban Calm Spa and have her perfect the shape. Nice eyebrows makes your entire face look cleaner and more put together.

Tips for eyebrows:

* Never pluck too far in. Prevent a unibrow, but leave the natural shape of your eyebrow near the middle. Two fingers worth of space is more than enough for space between your brows.

* Don’t over pluck the top. A few here and there is ok, but again leave your natural shape unless you have nugget brows, that’s a different story.

* Do NOT draw in your eyebrows TOO much. I see so many crayon eyebrows, so awful! Excessive eyebrow pencilers should be fined. Use a shadow and brush for more natural looking brows.

Some celebrity eyebrows I like, nice and natural. Two symmetrical eyebrows just make the entire face look better ;)

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

Girls, meet your new best friend… Out with MAC foundation, and in with grandma Estee Lauder’s Double Wear fountation. I know, I know, you’re skeptical but it’s true! Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation is wayyyy better than MAC’s foundation. My friend Lindsay told me about this secret switch and after trying it out, I really love it! It wears so much better than MAC, with little to no touch ups needed the entire day. I don’t know about you, but with MAC I had to touch up through out the day and by 4pm I looked like my face was melting off. Not a good look. Anyway it is about $32 bucks and I got mine at Nordstrom. You can get it at any Estee Lauder counter.

Double Wear offers:

  • 15-hour staying power.
  • Flawless coverage all day.
  • Worry-free, long-wearing makeup that stays fresh and looks natural through heat, humidity, nonstop activity.
  • Won’t change color, smudge or come off on clothes.
  • Feels lightweight and comfortable.
  • Now the flawless look you see in the morning is the look you keep all day.

Advantages:

  • Goes on smoothly
  • Great range of colors
  • Covers well and gives a flawless finish
  • Does not feel heavy or cakey

Disadvantages:

  • More pricey than some other foundations, for sure worth the price!

Overall Opinion:

  • It covers so well, feels great on my skin, goes on smoothly, and matches perfectly even if I am not super tan!
  • It does not make me look orange like MAC’s foundations do, and covers even better.

Try it out and lemme know what you think!

Get The Look: The Cat Eye

When doing the cat eye, remember to keep your blush simple and either opt for a nude or a bright lip. Sometimes I get lazy and don’t feel like doing my eye make up so I will use this look. Pretty plain, but it’s nice to switch things up. It can be a bit tricky getting the line right, mine still needs some perfecting, but the key is to use a liquid black eye liner with a medium sized brush. Not super thin, not thick. I like Almay’s black liquid liner.

To get this look: You must ensure that these steps are nicely done with open and attentive eyes so that you can get them right with the first shot. You will have to start over if you mess up since it is liquid liner and gets messy. Another reason for opening your eyes while doing it is because it’s hard to imagine how a winged line would be with your eyes open if you draw them with your eyes closed.

Start by tracing the eye as close to the lashes as possible by smoothly dragging the pen from the inner corner of the eye, towards the outer corner of the eye. Basically, you have to draw the eye make up lines as close as practically possible to the lash line, though they can be perfected or flattened later on. While you are drawing the lines, slightly jerk your hands to give the wrist a flick towards the outer edge. Modify the length to your liking.

Practice, practice, practice!

Best Concealer for Under Eyes?

As you know I am a big fan of Kim Kardashian, and of course always love her make up. Her make up artist shares his tips and I love posting them! I think they are so useful because he’s obviously a reliable source. This week’s tip was for under eye coverage. Many people email me about this topic so I had to share his choice!

His pick for the BEST under eye concealer?

The best concealer really depends on the skin or area you want to cover up. If I had to choose one right now, I’d say the Lift Concealer by Make Up For Ever. Apply some with a brush to under eyes, blend with a damp sponge and set with translucent powder using the same damp sponge. Brush away that excess powder and voila – you’ve got flawless, crease-less under eyes!

Lift Concealer by Make Up For EverTo order this concealer go to Sephora.com

More than just a concealer! It contains tensine, an active ingredient with skin-firming properties for the eye area, and vitamins A and E, which regenerate the skin. This multi-purpose product also conceals specific, darker areas (brown spots, blotches, etc.) and can be used as a highlighter on the more prominent parts of the face (cheekbones, forehead, and chin) for added radiance.

Dany’s Tip: “If you have wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, apply directly into the crease, then blend with light movements into your foundation.”

Get The Red Ouuuut

So this post may seem unusual but, I swear by eye drops. Can’t live without them. I first read about this beauty tip in a magazine, the article said it was a trick models used before photoshoots.

The models always need their eyes to be bright white before shoots, so eye drops obviously help get those results. Ever since that article, I can not live without eye drops. Not only do they refresh your tired, itchy, red eyes, but they really do brighten up your entire face! Clear eyes are much better then tired red eyes. So next time you are at the store, swoop up some Clear Eyes and get the red out ;)

PS- This tip is for both guys & girls

Can’t Live Without… Garnier Face Wipes

I am obsessed with face wipes. If I don’t get every spec of make up off my face before I go to bed I cry. So I wash my face and then follow up with these bad boys, they are so soft and gentle on the skin, love em! They also have a yummy Green Tea scent that leaves you feeling nice and refreshed.

I also love using face wipes while I do my make up. I hate any eyeshadow that falls underneath my eyes, so to avoid this, I do my eye make up first, clean up the underneath with a wipe after, and then finish off with my foundation, bronzer etc.

TIP: I HATE MAC’s face wipes. They make my eyes burn and irritate my skin. They’re thin and itchy too. I am super picky about face wipes, as I have tried many brands.

By far the best kind of face wipe is Garnier Nutritioniste Nutri-Pure Detoxifying Wet Cleansing Towelettes, Oil Free. They also won Allure Magazine’s Editor’s Choice award. :)

Want Thinner Coverage?

I personally prefer a thicker foundation, but many of you DO want to wear a thinner foundation! When I do want to go lighter on the foundation, I use Smashbox’s Sheer Tint. It has a bit of color and coverage but leaves you looking glowy and natural. Try it out!

I use the Medium tint in case that helps. It also has SPF 15 which is nice :)
