I love a good butt workout and thanks to Tony Cress, my new favorite butt workout has got to be squat jumps. I had heard of them before, but never tried them out. I was always worried about looking like a weirdo at the gym, but what is great about these, is that you can totally do them at home and feel an instant workout without looking weird at the gym. I do just 10 and feel the burn instantly. So, need a quick at home butt and thigh workout? Try squat jumps!

Start with 10, take a 30 second break and try 10 more!

    • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, arms at sides.
    • Start by doing a regular squat and then jump up as explosively as you can when you rise up reaching for the ceiling.
    • When you land, lower your body back into the squat position to complete one rep.
    • Do two sets of 10 reps.
    • Tip: Use your whole foot to jump, not just your toes, and try not to let your shoulders lean out beyond your knees as this can strain and injure your back.

Here is a video to check out the form. This guy is a weirdo but its the best short video of a squat I could find ha ha

I decided I need to kick my fitness up a notch, and what better way to mix it up than to go for a nice hike?! While visiting Phoenix, AZ last weekend my friends and I decided to do just that by hiking to the top of Camelback mountain. I figured eh, a 2 mile hike? Nice and easy… or so I thought. Things started off smooth, here I am barely sweating…

But shortly after this pic, things got a bit crazy. This was notttt just hiking, more so rock climbing. Sure you hike most of the way, but what everyone forgot to mention was that you’re hiking straight up actual rocks. And not just small rocks, HUGE rocks. At some points the mountain is sooo steep they had to install poles to help you up.

I mentioned in my Kim Kardashian post that I would post pictures of my new workout gear I received from the Vata launch party, so here it is! I am obsessed with this sports bra, not only because it is a super cute cut, but because it’s soooo comfy!

Vata is a workout line that features one size fits all workout pieces, made with a super stretchy, comfy material.  In my previous post, I mentioned that their “Luv Me” sports bra didn’t fit me well, a little too big, however, this new sports bra “The Rio” fits muchhhhh better. The cut is so cute it makes you want to not wear a shirt over it, but I’m not that buff/courageous yet. Maybe soon?

    THE RIO BRA $38.00

The “Rio” is a must have bra for your everyday and sportswear wardrobe. The “Rio” is designed for absolute flattery of your figure and provides unmatched natural moisture wicking with the one of a kind VATA Brasil OneFit fabric (sizes 0-12). Deep V-neck and low-interlaced back is an incredibly comfortable yet sexy and sassy look both in the gym and out. Do you need that perfect bra for yoga, low impact aerobics, Pilate’s or cycling? You have found your choice … The “Rio” is the one for you!!

Sorry I’m so fugly in the pic, I just got done doing hill sprints. But hey, at least now you’ve seen me sweaty without make up in my messy room? ;)

Check out the super cute back of the bra…

So of course when I heard Kim Kardashian was endorsing a new brand of workout clothes, I just haddddd to see what it was all about. I have seen Kim in cute workout pants before and loved them, and now I finally know what they are. Everyone get excited because VATA, which is made by Muscle Flex, is amazing!

From sports bras and jackets, to capri workout pants and shorts, VATA creates the perfect workout clothing. The secret here is definitely the material. The material is that super thick, but comfy spandex us girls love. You know, the kind that sucks everything in and makes almost everyone’s butt look great? Yup! The crazy thing is, is all their items are one size fits all because the material is so stretchy. It really does stretch or shrink to any size, fitting almost all sizes perfectly.

The perfect attire for yoga, the gym, running, comfy and stylish.

This is the exact reason I don’t FFF around with diet pills. Look who is back to being a big girl? Hey… I have no problem with big girls, I’m just sayin tho, what’s the point in being skinny for one month then gaining it all back? As I posted before, Khloe and Kim are HUGE spokespeople for Quik Trim diet pills, however this pic is proof the results are super temporary. I don’t know about you, but I rather stay consistent, work out, eat semi healthy and just be happy with the way I am.

Then again, maybe Khloe’s weight gain is because she’s preggo, she did say she was trying!? Guess well find out soon here.

Remember the good old days? The oh… 2 month ago days? Diet pills are yuck! PS I need to learn how to photoshop myself to look as good as they do here. Lotsa corrective clicks!

Being a girl I feel like I am on a never ending diet… Eat this, don’t eat that… Ehh well, not really considering my weekends consist of champagne and pizza, however I do find myself watching what I eat once and a while and recently came across a list of some foods many people eat thinking they are healthy, when in reality they are anything but. Some of these foods could surprise you.

    1. Sushi Rolls. Sure the veggies and seaweed wrap are low calorie, but a lot of the favorite rolls are smothered with nasty cream cheese or mayo (You know… that spicy sauce that sneaks it’s way in) Also, the seafood inside may be tempura battered aka fried greasy mess. Thanks to the above listed items, a standard sushi roll can clock in at 500 to 600 calories. Plus, soy sauce is packed with sodium, it won’t make you gain weight, but it will cause you to retain water, aka puffy mess with temporarily too tight of jeans.

Sushi tip? Play it safe like I do. Brown rice and veggies only. Avocado, asparagus, carrots, YUM!
