Smokey eyes are always in style but unfortunately, it’s a look not everyone is comfortable pulling off. I received an email the other day asking me to suggest a good smokey eye kit for someone trying out the smokey eye look for the first time… While I mostly use darker MAC shadows, I would suggest starting out with some sort of kit that helps you understand the process of the smokey eye look first. The key to a good smokey eye really relies all on your technique.

This kit comes with a base shadow, a lid shadow, a crease shadow and a liner shadow and what’s nice about this kit is it tells you what color goes wear so all you really need are your brushes and a little patience! The colors included are shimmering shades of: champagne, neutral beige, teak wood and milk chocolate.

** I also would suggest using a good eye shadow primer before ever wearing any shadow, otherwise it just never goes on right. I use MAC’s Paint Tube in Bare Canvas. I put it on the entire lid before. Happy blending!

Dita Sunglasses

Ahhhh love, love my early Christmas gift, Santa got me a fresh new pair of Dita Sunglasses, do you likeeee? They are kinda big, but I like big sunglasses For those of you who have not heard of Dita Sunglasses yet, they have amazing sunglasses for both men and women. Leopard Print Wrapping Paper

How cuteeee is this leopard and zebra print wrapping paper? I saw this at Papyrus last night at the Fashion Valley mall and of course had to swoop it. I couldn’t find it online, and it was an actual Papyrus brand so I guess your best bet at finding this paper would be to head to the store. It was only $6.50 plus they had a buy 2 get one free deal going on so I bought this one and a pink and gold crown one and got free ribbon. The leopard and zebra came in one roll though, both are soooo cute! Happy wrapping

Jovan Jane Rhinestoned Chain Headband

Everyone already knows I love Jovan Jane headbands and accessories, but here is a pic of my latest one, a super cute rhinestone chain headband. The headband is fancy enough on it’s own, toss on something plain and you’re good to go! I wore this with all black, black on black on black… The piece has a super shiny, real rhinestoned band that lays on your head, and three large black lace flowers you can wear to the side. Ahhh finally I have a few pictures of my favoriteeeeee shoe by Naughty Monkey, Bossy. I told you a while ago I got to name a shoe at work, but I couldn’t post about it because it wasn’t out yet. Finally I can introduce Bossy to the world. Sooo cute!

Stila Prime Pot Review

Everyone knows I love make up, so when I find a product that really works I love to pass on the tip! I love to wear simple top eyeliner but I always found that it would smudge off onto my upper lid and ended up just being a big mess. I went to Sephora to buy a new eyeliner thinking that was the problem, but the lady suggested I use a primer before lining.

I told her I didn’t like using a primer over my foundation, because you could see the primer, but she solved that quick by introducing me to Stila’s Primer Pot, a foundation colored, waterproof eye shadow/liner primer.

All I can say is wowwwwww, what a difference! My eyeliner does not smudge at all, I am so thankful to have found this. So if you are running into the same problem, have no fear Stila’s Prime Pot is here to save the day. As far as a liquid liner goes, I think you could try any liner after using this sturdy primer, however I know that Sephora’s Long Lasting Eyeliner with High Precision Brush is great!

**Side note, I did not like this under actual eyeshadow, MAC’s paint tubes are much better for dark shadow primers. I would use this for eyeliner only.

Shop Belina Earrings

I loveee funky/GLAM jewelry so Belina is one of my favorite go-to accessory brands. If you follow my blog, you probably remember me talking about this brand because I featured this super cute, and yes named after muah, “Amanda” necklace on here before. I just got a handful of new items from them so I wanted to share a sneak peak at some of the cute new earrings I just got. For now, here is a peak at new earrings, so cute! I would describe these as gunmetal, over-sized, blinged out tear drop gem earrings. They are about the size of your eye so lots of sparkle is guaranteed.
