Oh my gossshhh so last night we were out in LA for a birthday dinner at Boa Steakhouse on Sunset in Hollywood, and as soon as we walked in I bumped into Brody Jenner. I was on my way to the bathroom so I didn’t see where he went, but when I went back to the table Arika couldn’t wait to tell me that Brody was there on a date with Avril Lavigne. When I googled about these two it seems there has already been whispers of a low key relationship between the two, but my spotting confirms it ;)

The two were definitely cuddling and smooching a bit throughout dinner. The crazy thing is, is that after we saw her, she was spotted at Crown bar with her on again off again husband Deryck Whibley from Sum 41. Playyyyaaa.

Avril looked skittish and requested more space just before getting into her car to leave. Avril looked like you think she would, ratted hair, smeared eyeliner, and sporting some dirty sneakers and skinny jeans. Also spotted at Boa was Paris & Nikki Hilton’s parents, Boa is definitely the place to eat if youd like to run into a celebrity or two.

Such an odd duo but hey maybe what they say is true, opposites attract? Here is my I-Phone paparazzi pic, hard to see but its Brody on the left and Avril on the right, pre cuddle sesh.

I guess I am just an excessive eater, all my posts are food related it seems? :( I have been in Vegas all week so eating has definitely been a huge part of the week. Great, bye bye skinny jeans. Anyway, I have a new favorite sushi restaurant for you to try if you are in Vegas. Inside Caesars Palace there is a sushi restaurant called Roku Sushi and it is delicious! I would suggest making a reservation though because it isn’t that big and can fill up, especially on weekends.

If you really want a good seat, reserve a view of the strip if you can. Half of the restaurant overlooks the strip which makes for a super fun date spot. My favorite part of the meal was the Champagne cocktail. YUM! I love any place that has specialty cocktails that are unique. For dinner I ordered a veggie roll, cucumbers, avocado and asparagus with soy paper. Was pretty yummy but not that filling, the rolls could be a bit bigger, or maybe I’m just fat and they’re a good size?

I also got veggie tempura which was good as well. They also have a Miso Eggplant, which sounds repulsive but was actually tasty, bits of eggplant cooked in miso soup, pretty yum. Like I said, the cocktail was my favorite, but the sushi was great too for all you sushi fans. By far the best sushi I have found in Vegas so far. There was also a bachelorette party there when we ate, so it is def. a fun place to bring a big group, however they were loud and annoying ;P

Have a favorite restaurant in Vegas? I wanna hear! Big fat fatty, I wanna hit up all the best places ;)

YUM! I don’t know about you, but I loveeee Mexican food and just had to share with you the yummiest Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas. (Just incase you are in town looking for a yummy, fun new meal to try out) Dos Caminos is the name of the restaurant and it is located inside of the Pallazo Hotel which is right next door to The Venetian.

The decor of the place is super fun and colorful, the place is hugeeee and is def something different and interesting to see. Picture sparkly blue, tile pillars throughout the restaurant, and tons of unique lamps covering the walls.  They even have cabana style tables in the front you can reserve, all are dimly lit with purple lights, would make a fun date spot ferrr shure.

So I told you guys I would have a Valentine this year and I had to let you know that I kept my word ;) Perfect Valentine’s weekend filled with yummy food, champagne, candy and pretty sunsets… I had such a fun weekend! I stayed in La Jolla at the La Valencia Hotel and I had a blast exploring the La Jolla tide pools, caves, coves, seals and amazing hotel! My parents had their wedding reception at this hotel so I was excited to see the area. I thought I’d share a few of the awesome pics. (Thanks Mom for the camera, I know you want the credit!)

Next time you need a new, fun place to stay in San Diego definitely check out La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla. Old school hotel but still so nice, plus it’s PINK! There are also so many cute little shops and restaurants to walk around to around the hotel. One restaurant we loved was Azul La Jolla. Azul is owned by the same people that own the Brigatine and Miguel’s in case those are 2 of your faves ;)

Instead of ordering actual entrees we ordered yummy champagne cocktails and a million side orders. Perfect meal. In need of an awesome date location? This place was super fun and delicious. Just avoid the waitress with the pony tail, she was mean. She was probably mean because I asked for sweet champagne and when she brought me dry, gross champagne I sent it back :) oopsie.

Anyway, La Jolla definitely is somewhere you can go and explore tons of new things. The seals are really fun to watch, the waves were huge this weekend, the sunsets were pretty and pink, and like I said tons of bars, restaurants and shops to visit. Next date night try La Jolla!

I love ♥Valentine’s Day♥, I don’t know why because every year I have a crappy one, but I still love it ;) I also love quotes and wanted to give you guys a few to think about or add in your Valentine’s Day cards or crafts. People have asked me what to get their Valentines this year and since Valentine’s Day is about expressing love, I think the best gifts are those that show how you feel, crafts, pictures, flowers, letters etc…

Guys: Here is a TIP on Valentine’s Days, girls want to hear how much they mean to you. She would take a hand written card/note over a big gift any day! So this year plan ahead, make your Valentine something special that shows effort and emotion. Ewww emotions, I know. Frame her a picture, make her a Valentine, write her a nice card letting her know the top 10 things you love about her (For me I would need top 100 ;) ) Plan a fun date night for the two of you, doesn’t have to be fancy, girls just want fun nights with you. Valentine’s Day is about love, not money.

Girls: Guys want to feel loved and cared for. Make them a nice dinner with all his favorite foods and booze. You know all those things he begs you to do that you never do every other day of the year? Do them today.  Pretty simple. Think back to something you’re always saying NO to, whatever it may be…and today say OK :) I also think guys secretly like flowers. Girls, you can get your guy flowers too, chances are he’s never had them and let’s be real, who doesn’t love flowers and a nice card.

Ok now for some of my favorite L♥ve quotes to get us all in the V-day m♥♥d:

    Love is all you need.

Love is the condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.

So if you don’t already know, Hotel Del is a huge fancy hotel here in San Diego, CA. It is located in Coronado and is a great spot for dates, so me and my man, aka Erin, headed out there to check out their beach front ice skating rink! So cute and sounded like so much fun, however, I have a confession… Erin & I totally went with the intentions of ice skating, buttttt by the time we validated our parking (At the bar of course) it was already 8:20 and it closed at 9:00, so we decided against it.

We weren’t paying $25 bucks to skate on a 2 inch rink for 30 minutes. We were both happy with our choice, it was soooo soooo cold out and the ice looked miserable plus the rink was tiny. If you are looking to just ice skate I would not suggest Coronado, DT is probably better. But, if you want to skate for a bit and run around and take cute pictures then it is worth the drive.

I decided to give you the pros and cons of the Coronado rink.

Cons: * $25 dollars for 2 hours, no one would skate for 2 hours so…. kinda annoying price wise.

    * Smalllll rink, maybe holds 50 people. You can also almost see the wood coming through the rink, but we did go late at night before they closed, could be better during the day.

    Pros:

    * Would be perfect during the day or at sunset time because it is right on the beach, cuteee pics. Night time was not nearly as cool, I would go at around 5pm, ice skate, take pics during day light, then stick around for dinner and night time pictures around with all the pretty lights.

    * Hotel Del is an amazing venue on its own. We took so many cute pictures! The entire hotel is decorated so cute!

    * Tons of restaurants and bars to make an entire night of it. Overall we had so much fun just walking around, taking Christmas tree pictures and watching people eat it on the ice while we sipped on glasses of champagne. Definitely recommend dinner or drinks at the Hotel Del at this time of year, its so festive and soooo fun… and try ice skating if you’re up for it :)

I was listening to the radio this morning and they were talking about cool dining places in San Diego to try out, and one they mentioned was this place called Nature’s Ambrosia in Point Loma. So, what is it?

Nature’s Ambrosia is an ALL fruit restaurant! That’s right, they ONLY serve fruit! What is also cool about this place?

They use no preservatives, they’re Gluten free, and use no Frozen Fruits, All Natural Ingredients.  Nature’s Ambrosia has smoothies, slushies, shakes, juices, fruit bowls, fruit tacos (fruit wrapped in a tortilla) and healthy dessert cups with your choices of strawberries, bananas, mangoes, pineapple, oranges, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelon, peanut butter, chocolate, coconut.  They also have milk, soy milk, ginger, protein (soy, rice and/or whey/wheat & egg) and toppings- almonds, raisins, peanuts, choc chips, coconut flakes and granola.

Yum! I loveeee places like this! Check it out!
