If you live in Vegas the opening of Encore Beach Club is old newszzzz but I know so many of my San Diego and Cali friends have no idea what is about to hit Las Vegas! Encore’s Beach Club & Surrender Nightclub are two brand new venues being opened at The Encore Hotel, the sister hotel of Wynn. Encore Beach Club definitely is the place to go this Memorial Day and throughout the Summer so book your tables now! Also Neyo is performing the 29th, ahh love Neyo! Girls, need on the guest list? Lemme know and I can have my list guy put you on!

The Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub takes the daytime beach party and continues the party into a nightclub, transitioning guests from day to night. If you thought rehab was crazy you havent seen anything yet…

Encore Beach Club is the premiere destination for the socialite seeking a quality party atmosphere. Upon entering the 60,000 square foot venue, guests are treated to a lush oasis featuring 40-foot palm trees surrounding three tiered pools. The deck offers ample seating provided by chaise lounges, couches and day beds featuring private safes. Guests preferring a cooler spot can choose to lounge on over sized lily pads resting in shallow water or dance under one of the shower poles. Encore Beach Club’s gaming pavilion beckons those looking to try their luck at blackjack or craps. Read More | Comments

Since everyone seems to be left so confused over my recent over night relocation I decided to update you all on exactly what is going on over here… well actually, there really isn’t much to update or say other than I moved to Las Vegas! I have been playing around with the idea for years and finally decided to make the jump. I drove out my stuff with my pal Arika on Saturday and finally have gotten all settled in. We got a chance to run around Las Vegas a bit and play, so overall it was a super exciting weekend, with lots of changes. I plan on hiding out here for a bit and revamping my site, you know… really kicking it up a notch so stay tuned ;)

After moving all day Saturday, Arika and I decided to head out and meet up with some friends! The great thing about living in Las Vegas, is that you always have someone in town visiting. On Saturday night we hit up Vanity nightclub at The Hard Rock Hotel with Shiela & Angie.

It was eh ok, super busy due to the fight being in town. We stayed at Vanity a bit and peaced out to eat Sonic. Why is eating always more fun?

Kim Kardashian laying poolside in Miami? How perfect does that sound rightttt now? Usually I prefer Winter over Summer, but I have a feeling this Summer is going to be super fun. Seeing these pics made me realize a lot goes into looking this cute while simply laying out, which then caused me to create a mental list of everything that went into her looking so fab. That then inspired this post ;) After all, who doesn’t want to learn how to look effortlessly cute poolside? Kim looks like she just threw on a bikini and decided to layout, however any glam girl knows that’s definitely not the case.

So… sure fire ways to be the cutest Beach Bunny this Summer?

    1. Her hair- someone shove some extra weave pieces in my head now, long flowy princess hair, I want it… no I need it! Extensions make everything look better. To me at least ;) Sure they might not be user friendly or like-able by anyone touching your head but so what, they look fab. I personally would go for clip in hair extensions that way you can take them in and out as needed. In San Diego?  Hair Unlimited is an extension store that will match your hair color and make the extensions for you, all for around $100.00. Best $100 you’ve ever spent!

I will always love ruffles, call me an 8 year old fine, but I still love em. One of my favorite bikini tops of last year, was a Victoria’s Secret ruffle top so I am happy to see that the ruffle trend lives on this bikini season.

I am not really a fan of Old Navy however, they have the cutesttttt ever ever Women’s Ruffled Bandeau Swim Tops, and they run at just $16.50 a piece! This top comes in black, baby blue, hotttt pink and peach. The bottoms look huge so I would skip those and buy a smaller bottom elsewhere. Victoria’s Secret has also reinvented the ruffle bikini, this year with a Ruffle sliding triangle top. Tops run at $24.00 and the bottoms only $15.00. The trick to VS bottoms is buying the tie side bikini bottoms one size too small and then just adjusting the tie. That way the butt is less covering but not pinching the sides.

So when swimwear shopping this season, consider ruffles!

I have 3 all time favorite brands… Bebe, PINK by Victoria’s Secret and last but certainly not least, BEACH BUNNY. I have written about Beach Bunny before, but they just released their 2010 line of bikinis and I want them ALL. Honestly everything about Beach Bunny is cute. Their advertising, their models, their bikini cuts, etc etc. PLUS they have an entire Alpha Female section on their site! Ahhh, perfect example of branding done right, Beach Bunny is most definitely the hottest bikini line on the market. The only downfall of Beach Bunny is they are pretty pricey. About $300 for a bikini, but… justifiable because they’re oh so unique, detailed and fab. Lace, ribbons, bows, pearls, polka dots, my kinda brand.

Beach Bunny is the perfect brand for a fancy vacation or girls getaway to Vegas. I don’t like when girls where glamkinis to the wrong places. (I made that word up myself ;) ) So lets separate when glamkinis, like Beach Bunny, are ok and when they’re not.

When to glam it up and bust out with a fab new glamkini:

    * Vegas or Miami, duh

    * On a yacht, boat party, or fancy pool party

When to NOT bust out a bedazzled glamkini bc you look dumb

    * The beach, your backyard laying out, the water park, or local beach clubs. I always see girls in pictures soooo glammed out for pos places like Wavehouse in SD, and it looks dumb. There is such a thing as trying too hard, and a local beach party is one place to pass on the glamkini. Sport a cute outfit sure, but dress venue appropriate.

Now check out a few of my favorites from Beach Bunny’s new 2010 bikini line.

NOTE: Bottoms run SMALL I wear a LARGE in Beach Bunny bottoms, but then again my lower half is large. Best to try these on in person, online ordering may be tricky.

    Love on the Rocks $239.00

Comes in grey & hot pink. I loveee the dark gun metal grey. Super cute with gun metal accessories.

My fashion moods definitely change often, right now I am super into creams, tans and natural animal prints. When I say natural animal print, I mean actual animal coloring print… so creams and browns, you know the ones that look real. I just bought a new bikini yesterday by Vix, and I got the cream and brown cheetah print. Love it!

This specific Vix bikini has been around for a season or two and has been spotted on all the celebs, and the cut is still going strong this year. Definitely is a cute, classic bikini every girl should own.
