I love this bikini even if it’s old news. I have it in a leopard print but I loveeee this pretty baby blue color, especially against sun-kissed skin. Kim wears it perfectly. Wanna get your bronzed buns in it? Shop the Vix bikini below! I wear a size Small top and a Medium bottom, however I have a booty.

The site is a bit tricky, to shop the bottoms click on the link below, you will see the top and then a link that says to shop the bottoms click here.

Leave it to me to be bikini shopping in December, but with Victoria’s Secret’s super swimwear SALE, how can you really resist? I got sooo many cute new bikinis, some for only $20 bucks! You can always use a cute new bikini in case your boyfriend surprises you with a trip to Cabo next week right? Wishful thinking, hmmm I think not.

** Tip for VS swimwear sizing, their butt’s are HUGE, like ewww HUGE, so the only style bottoms I’ll ever wear are the “Double String Bottoms” I order an XS and re-adjust the ties so the butt is smaller. Not all styles I post come with tie bottoms, but some people are ok with the VS butt’s as covering as they are.

** Price total includes both pieces.

    Cheetah-Print Triangle Top $20

    Balconet Bikini $29.00

    Ruffle Sliding Triangle Top $20

    Maya Twist Bandeau $40

I have a fun new place to tell you about, you may or may have heard of it already, but The Rivera Hotel in Palm Springs is a really fun place to visit, even if it’s just for the day! It’s a hotel that has a super fun pool to hang out at, it makes for a great quick day trip getaway. I’ve always wanted to go because I saw pictures of it that looked really fun, the pool has these giant floaty bright colored pillows you can lay on so I had to check them out! A few gfs and I headed out to Palm Springs and had a blast at the pool. Anyway, for more info on The Rivera Hotel check out their site! It’s about 2 hours away and a super fun, quick day vacation. You don’t need a hotel key to get in either ;)

They have tons of yummy drink options too. Perfect pool to kick back and relax at for the day.

Talk about a Summer dream come true, what better product than a light weight powder sunscreen? Of course I always start my day with a good SPF face lotion, but this Peter Thomas Roth Powder Sunscreen comes in handy on hot days when I need a quick SPF touch up and don’t want to re apply more SPF lotion all over my make up. Definitely a Summer must have to carry around in your beach bags! Perfect size and comes with a built in brush which makes applying it easy breezy ;)

What exactly it is: A transparent SPF 45 mineral powder in a convenient brush applicator.

What it is formulated to do: Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF45 works immediately to block out the sun’s harmful UVA, UVB, and infrared rays to help prevent sunburn, skin damage, freckling, and discoloration. The light, matte powder gives the complexion a smooth, radiant, youthful look.

What else you need to know: This finely milled, talc-free powder leaves a residue-free layer of sun protection to help skin maintain a soft, healthy look and feel. It is the perfect solution for mess-free touch-ups throughout the day.

Also, if you’re worried about spending so much on  a new product you’re unsure about, Physician’s Formula also makes a powder with SPF 50 built in for only $14.95.  I haven’t tried it yet, but if anyone tries it let me know how it works!

Yep sorry girls, there are Vegas Pool shoe rules… After hitting up all the pool parties here in town, I’ve realized sooooo many girls have no idea what kind of shoes to wear to Vegas pool parties. One of the biggest, most common, mistakes girls make is wearing their actual clubbing/party shoes out to the pool. Can this work sometimes? Sure, but always? Um…no. It definitely takes a certain look and style to be able to pull off the celebrity pool look.

Besides, clubs and pools are two totally different environments, your shoes should coordinate accordingly. Black stilettos? Not really a pool shoe. Boots? DEF not a pool shoe. I have seen girls in anything from 5 inch spike heels to 1 inch tall boots. 1 inch tall boots are not for anywhere other than a chilly Fall day, so I have no idea why anyone would be wearing a boot to a Vegas pool anyway, whole nother post….

There are of course exceptions to every rule, the exception here? If you can pull of the celebrity pool look without looking like you are overly trying. So many girls try and pull off this look but it simply just doesn’t work. They toss on a random bikini and mis-match spiked heel thinking the heel completes the outfit. No. Make sure the bikini, hair, outfit, make up, and shoe all coordinate and flow together.

Ahhh so Memorial Day in Vegas has officially begun, the city is totallllly chaotic! I haven’t been going out at all lately so I decided to stop being a hermit and hit up Cheryl Burke’s birthday at TAO Beach with my friends from LasVegasPoolScene.com. These guys have been such good friends to me, helping me get to know people in Vegas and of course always keeping me in touch with the best events and pool parties to hit up. If you ever need the 411 on the hottest Vegas pool events make sure to check out my friend Joe’s site! He will get you on whatever guest lists you need for any Vegas pools and the site always covers the celebrity hosted events, fun site to check out :)

Anyway, so we hit up TAO Beach because even though it’s been around a bit, it’s reliable fun ;) Today, like I said, was Cheryl Burke, from Dancing with the Star’s, birthday so TAO Beach was packed.

LasVegasPoolScene.com had a day bed table so it was nice to just layout and sip a cocktail. Long over due. A few randy’s, Freddy, Shawn, Joe & I.
