Every girl MUSTTTT have the new foundation brush by MAC. My friend Brittany works for MAC and suggested I try this brush and boy was she right, it lays your make up so smooth! Such an amazing brush to apply your liquid foundation. It truly goes on flawlessly and doesn’t show the usual cracks and make up build up normal brushes leave you with.

I use Estee Lauder Double Wear liquid foundation (Tawney color), applied with this brush, and it really is the best I have found so far.

MAC describes it as: “A short, round, flat-topped brush ideal for the smooth, easy application of foundations, creams, emulsions, and select powder products. Features a blend of natural bristles and synthetic fibers.”

It retails for $38 and is available at maccosmetics.com

I have posted about my talented, fab hairstyling pal Rachel before, but what I learned today is that her specialty is also men’s haircuts. While visiting her today I saw her cut a few guy’s hair and was impressed! Figured I would pass this little tip on to all my guy readers who are looking for a reliable, yet affordable trim or new hairstyle.

Rachel is super cute and easy to talk to, it’s nice to get your hair cut by someone who listens to what you want and who really wants you to leave happy. Men’s haircuts run only $30-$40 bucks depending on what you do, and she will make sure you leave with exactly what you want.

The salon itself is called Salon de Marcus, and is located Downtown, San Diego on 2nd Avenue. Super cute little boutique-y place that isn’t buzzing with a million people. Everyone is friendly, well trained, and overall just a great experience. I know men are finicky with hair cutting places, and it’s hard to find someone easy and good, so Rachel just might be your girl :) Summer is coming, time for a nice new clean cut ;)

I guess I am just an excessive eater, all my posts are food related it seems? :( I have been in Vegas all week so eating has definitely been a huge part of the week. Great, bye bye skinny jeans. Anyway, I have a new favorite sushi restaurant for you to try if you are in Vegas. Inside Caesars Palace there is a sushi restaurant called Roku Sushi and it is delicious! I would suggest making a reservation though because it isn’t that big and can fill up, especially on weekends.

If you really want a good seat, reserve a view of the strip if you can. Half of the restaurant overlooks the strip which makes for a super fun date spot. My favorite part of the meal was the Champagne cocktail. YUM! I love any place that has specialty cocktails that are unique. For dinner I ordered a veggie roll, cucumbers, avocado and asparagus with soy paper. Was pretty yummy but not that filling, the rolls could be a bit bigger, or maybe I’m just fat and they’re a good size?

I also got veggie tempura which was good as well. They also have a Miso Eggplant, which sounds repulsive but was actually tasty, bits of eggplant cooked in miso soup, pretty yum. Like I said, the cocktail was my favorite, but the sushi was great too for all you sushi fans. By far the best sushi I have found in Vegas so far. There was also a bachelorette party there when we ate, so it is def. a fun place to bring a big group, however they were loud and annoying ;P

Have a favorite restaurant in Vegas? I wanna hear! Big fat fatty, I wanna hit up all the best places ;)

YUM! I don’t know about you, but I loveeee Mexican food and just had to share with you the yummiest Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas. (Just incase you are in town looking for a yummy, fun new meal to try out) Dos Caminos is the name of the restaurant and it is located inside of the Pallazo Hotel which is right next door to The Venetian.

The decor of the place is super fun and colorful, the place is hugeeee and is def something different and interesting to see. Picture sparkly blue, tile pillars throughout the restaurant, and tons of unique lamps covering the walls.  They even have cabana style tables in the front you can reserve, all are dimly lit with purple lights, would make a fun date spot ferrr shure.

Sometimes I think I should pack my bags and move to Vegas to become a VIP host because I get more emails regarding Vegas than I do San Diego since I seem to be in Vegas more than SD these days. I think I am going to man … uuhhhh wo-man up, and move to Vegas. It is so much more fun out there :) Anyway, I want to start posting more about Vegas hot spots and the kewl places to party, since they seem to change hourly!) For anything Vegas related, feel free to email me! I can hook you up with anything you need. Guest lists, tables, pool parties… amandajo@helloamanda.com.

Anyway, today I am going to briefly talk about the 3 hottest Vegas clubs to date.

    1. XS- Encore

    2. Haze- Aria Hotel

    3. Vanity- Hard Rock Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

First Vegas hot spot I am going to tell you about is XS at Encore. To me I think this is still one of the best club in Vegas, the club itself is ammmmazinnng. The 40,000-square foot, 1 million dollar club, is located at Encore Las Vegas, which as you might know is a second tower to the Wynn. XS features 95 VIP tables, 30 cabanas situated on two levels and daybeds that surround a fabbbb pool. Although it has been around a little bit,  it still is a total blast. The second you walk in, youre blown away. It is by far the hugest club I have ever been to, you get lost for sure. Pools, pillars, pink lights, the decor is fab.

Celebs love XS and every time I go I see a few. John Mayer, Pam Anderson, Tito & Jenna, The Kardashians… You name em, they go.

Continue for other top Vegas hot spots!

Yum yummm, I loveee Monster Energy drinks, my new favorite is one of their coffee drinks called Lo-Ball Java. Lo-Ball java comes in a white monster can and is a coffee flavored energy drink that tastes delicious however, contains far less calories than most coffee drinks.

The Lo-Ball Java tastes like a Starbucks caramel frappuccino kind of. Smooth, milky, creamy. Yum. PLUS it is pretty lo cal. 50 calories per serving. With 2 servings per can, Lo-Ball is a 100 calorie coffee drink. Not too bad.

Before you attack me and tell me how bad these are for me you should know, I know. I drink them in moderation and know they are not a good product to drink daily. Thanks for the concern :)

Anyway, if you are in the market for a new, low calorie, coffee flavored pick me up, try out Monster Lo- Ball. Available at most gas stations, but can be tricky to find. So far I get mine at the AMPM by Fashion Valley mall.

I received a handful of products from a really cool skin care line called Amino Genesis, and my current favorite is the under eye cream called Counter Clockwise. Looking to get rid of those dark under eye circles, crows feet or wrinkles? Look no further, Counter Clockwise is designed to reduce puffiness, wrinkles and those nasty morning dark circles under the eyes. The cream proved to give the skin around the eyes a brighter, cleaner and clearer appearance for me, it really did firm up my under eye area and worked better than any other cream I have tried. It never burns my eyes and always feels super refreshing and moisturizing. I am obsessed! Less wrinkles, less puff, less problems :)

It took me about 2 weeks of solid use, twice a day, to begin to notice the good news, but I definitely did see results. I never really thought I had dark circles under my eyes before, but this cream brightened up my under eye area and really firmed me up. World of difference.

It is available for sale online and isn’t too pricey,  totally worth the $30 bucks! Great gift for any girl or guy, after all, who doesn’t wants less wrinkles? :)
