Ahhh finally my Chargers pulled through. Not gonna lie, when thinking about the Broncos vs. Chargers I was a bit scared. The Broncos smashed Kansas City last week, and considering we lost to KC, I was a bit uneasy about the MNF match up. Luckily for me, San Diego, anddddd the Chargers, they showed us they are able to play football and beat the Broncos 35-14.
My woman and I were fortunate enough to watch the game in person at Qualcomm. Getting there was a bit of a nightmare, traffic was insaneeeeee. I got sick of waiting in it, so I was the brat who swerved around it all and cut off the last car. Karma got me back tho, because after cutting everyone off, the rent a cop told me the lot was closed and that we had to park 23 miles away up a giant mountain, and walk down in our heels. Yea heels. I have been informed that football games are not fashion shows, but hello, life is a fashion show be quiet. I can like football and fashion ya know…
The only good thing about traffic jams? Picture time!

After driving to the tippy toeeee top of the mountain, we entered a residential area to try and park. We see an entire empty area but wait a second, there are cones saving the spots? Pfff yeah ummmm ok, cones don’t hold spots sorry. As we approach the parking spots, on the public street mind you, two hustling little Mexican kids flag us in as if they’re valet attendants, both with cash in their hands. I look at Erin like, wait do these kids think they’re selling us public street parking? We both get all huffy with them telling these little brats that they cant sell public parking to us and to move their cones asap. They say no and well, yeah I handled that. I told them to go find their parents and to let them know you can’t sell people the city’s property. The best part is, the couple in front of us was stupid enough to pay them…?
Anyway, we finallllly parked and headed downhill. Half way down I realized I forgot my cell phone. Perfect. Back up the hugeeeeeeee hill I go. 32 years later we arrived at the game, we missed tailgating but somehow made it in time for the opening ceremonies.
We had a bit of an incident before arriving to our field level seats… you see we were sitting in Plaza 56 on accident before finding out we were in the wrong seats. We fully marched into P56 and kicked some poor Asian guy out of his seat. We were like nope nope, those are our seats move. He left so confused and came back 20 min later quietly asking us if we were sureeee those were our seats. Yes. We’re sure.
