May13th

Living in Vegas I eat alllllll day, sometimes even at 12am. It really is crazy how the city changes your internal time clock. Anyway, I was dying to find a place that served a healthy fruit bowl in the middle of the night, so off to yelp I went and bam, I found my new favorite gangster hangout, The Peppermill.

Not gonna lie, when I first pulled up to the Peppermill Restaurant on Las Vegas Blvd. I was a bit skeptical. The outside is not the most inviting, however what is inside totally makes up for it ;) They say never judge a book by it’s cover and that’s totally the case when it comes to the Peppermill.

As soon as you enter the Peppermill you’ll notice it has a Denny’s/diner vibe to it however it’s sooo much better than any crappy Denny’s. The entire place is lit up with neon pink and purple lights and the lamps above every table? PINK Flamingos! I loveeee flamingos and neon pink lights, I was instantly soooo excited. I l-l-loveeee unique restaurants!

Ok, so if you ever make it here you HAVE to get the fruit appetizer. I get it as a meal because yea, it’s that big. I was the happiest girl alive when it came to the table. It came with a delicious banana bread loaf, accompanied with marshmallow sauce, which was a meal itself. Whoever invented the banana bread/marshmallow combo is a genius ;) Soooo good.

The actual fruit plate is huge, 4 people could easily share it. It comes with an entire pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, bananas, kiwis, strawberries, grapes, oranges and my favorite watermelon… then they kick it up yet another level and top it off with rainbow sherbet. Ahhh it really is the yummiest $14.50 you could spend.

The rest of the menu doesn’t disappoint either. I was so full from my fruit bowl I had to take my salad home. They have super yummy chicken salads, and I am very picky about my chicken, has to be nice, white and clean ;) They have so many delicious options and the best part is they’re open 24 hours! They also serve booze 24 hours a day and are known for having a super cool and cozy fireside lounge to sip your cocktails by.

The menu is mostly American… Omelets, sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps, sundaes, etc… total diner menu, but all the food is fresh and surprisingly great quality! Good job yelp, Peppermill really is the best fruit bowl I have had in town so far and a cool low key hangout to hit up when you’re sick of the casinos. So next time you’re in Vegas and craving a tasty snack or drink at 6am, hit up Peppermill on Las Vegas Blvd. you won’t be sorry ;) Peppermill is located between the Stardust and Riviera Hotels.

pretty sure I’ve never seen a completely pink restaurant anywhere else. i’d call that pretty unique, even if there are multiple Peppermills
