Kim Kardashian laying poolside in Miami? How perfect does that sound rightttt now? Usually I prefer Winter over Summer, but I have a feeling this Summer is going to be super fun. Seeing these pics made me realize a lot goes into looking this cute while simply laying out, which then caused me to create a mental list of everything that went into her looking so fab. That then inspired this post After all, who doesn’t want to learn how to look effortlessly cute poolside? Kim looks like she just threw on a bikini and decided to layout, however any glam girl knows that’s definitely not the case.

So… sure fire ways to be the cutest Beach Bunny this Summer?

1. Her hair- someone shove some extra weave pieces in my head now, long flowy princess hair, I want it… no I need it! Extensions make everything look better. To me at least Sure they might not be user friendly or like-able by anyone touching your head but so what, they look fab. I personally would go for clip in hair extensions that way you can take them in and out as needed. In San Diego?  Hair Unlimited is an extension store that will match your hair color and make the extensions for you, all for around $100.00. Best $100 you’ve ever spent!

2. Her tan. Kim Kardashian is known for lovin’ spray tan. Make sure you’re bronzed and beautiful before bearing it all in your bikini. You will wonder how you ever lived without it for so long, I know I did.

3. White bikini’s on tan skin. Find a bikini that goes with your complexion. Tan skin and dark hair looks amazing with bright colors and whites. If you are more fair skinned, make sure you go with something that compliments your features… Hair color, skin, eyes etc…

4. Sunglasses. For me sunglasses are an investment I will make. I think they make everything look better, more put together I suppose. There are some cheap things you can fake, but cheap sunglasses aren’t one of them. They cheapen your entire look. Avoid.  I love Kim’s glasses, especially because they match her bikini enough, but not too much… A tiny hint of a white rim, super cute! Aviators will be big again this Summer.

5. Polished Pedi- You can’t see her nails here but I guarantee they are perfectly polished. Another pool party must have. Shiny nails A light pink or light tan would look super cute with this suit, or my never ending favorite, hot pink!

6. Lipgloss- My favorite light lip glosses are from Mac. I love the dazzleglass line, it’s thin, sparkly and lasts forever. It’s a perfect gloss for a sunny day, it brings enough shimmer and shine without leaving you looking like a make up face.

There you have it, the few things us girls must ensure are taken care of before laying poolside. Of course if you are laying in your backyard you can ignore all of the above and throw your hair in a messy pony tail, these suggestions are just for the girls making an important pool cameo somewhere fun. Vegas? Miami? A big phattttttt boat? Yup.
