Last week I worked an event in Palm Springs, CA which gave me the chance to explore a new city. For all you San Diegans, Palm Springs is super close (2hr drive) and a perfect place to dash off to for a quick getaway. There is so much to do out there, tons of fun restaurant and hotels to visit. If you can handle the slow drivers (Everyone that lives there is 80+) then it’s a great place for a quick and easy weekend vacation.
My favorite part of the Palm Springs weekend was a hotel called Le Parker Méridien. As soon as I pulled into the hotel I fell in love. All the valet boys sport PINK sports coats, blazers and pants!
The entire hotel has a sort of disco, old school Hollywood vibe to it. Think velvet, gaudy chandeliers and lamps, sparkly pillows, a giant DRUGS sign on the wall serving as decor, and tons of bright colors. But the property itself is amazing! Total desert paradise.

My two favorite parts of this hotel was the restaurant called Norma’s, and the Day Spa called Palm Springs Yacht Club. Norma’s is half inside half outside, so on a sunny day it is the perfect place for an outdoors breakfast or lunch. They bring you fresh smoothie samples every time you eat there, and everything is soooo yummy. I loved their giant fruit bowls and egg white omelets. YUM.
The decor is super fun and bright, with overhead canopy’s that open or shut to accommodate your sunshine desires ![]()
After eating a delicious breakfast, we dashed off to the spa for deep tissue massages. I needed it bbbbbadddddd. The massages here are amazingggg. I never ever wanted to leave. You can obviously select which massage you want and I chose a deep tissue massage. The massage was painful at times but a good pain. They work out all your knots and definitely cater to all your massage requests.
They have an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and dark room all available to use while at the spa. Was a perfect day ![]()
Overall Le Parker Méridien Hotel aka Parker Hotel is a fun place to relax and hangout. You can definitely make a weekend here. The massages run around $150.00 for an hour long massage and the room rates range from $350-700.00 depending on what you choose.
