I recently was browsing through pictures from a night out at Stingaree, when I came across soooo many bad outfits, almost every picture had some sort of fashion violation! I am sorry if these are your friends, but I came to a screeching hault when I saw these pics. Instead of getting mad girls, lets just correct the errors and move forward

1. I can’t stand these floozie, Vegas shirts that somehow have made their way into 2010. I remember when these first became cool, hmm what… 5 years ago?

There is nothing cute about floppy, bra-less boobs bouncing around cheap, slinky fabric. There is nothing cute about backless party tops either. Maybe at one time, but they just aren’t in style right now. Both these outfits look like my friends and I back in our college days which was 23 years ago. So ladies, do me a favor, throw away any and all party tops you have that are thin, spandexy, Lycra, and especially the ones that droop down to your belly button, eeek!

2. Party tops do not belong with True Religions. People need to learn how to combine materials. If you want to wear either of these items, fine. But mix and match accordingly. This top should have been worn with black pants, a black skirt, or dark dressy denim. Not distressed denim with white, thick stitching. If you want to wear distressed denim, fine. But pair it with a white tank top and vest or blazer. Funk it up. Her friends shirt… bad all together. The print. The fabric. The moo moo 2005 cut… all bad.

3. I don’t even know what is going on with the girl on the right. The green, the belly, the belt, the clip? The shorts?

4. I don’t even know what these long sleeve shirts are that both girls are wearing, but nothing about them is ok. The fit, the material, the pattern…you are aware you are in a nightclub right? Long sleeve swirly shirts are never ok, well ok, maybe to bed.

Ok, that is enough. Too much going on for me, all in one night. Point is everyone needs to update their fashion before going to one of San Diego’s best nightclubs. There are tons of cute looks that are easy to attain & that are super affordable. Ditch the 2005 fashions and get with 2010. Check out my What to Wear section for some tips
