Being friends with guys is so much easier than being friends with girls, why is that? I guess it is because girls are crazy, selfish, over thinking psychos… (Yea ya, me too) And most guys are laid back, loyal, keep it real kinda peeps. I always was bitter my girl friends didn’t treat me the way guys treat each other. Guy’s friendships are perfect. Here is why:

They can scream and yell at each otherĀ and be cool in 5 minutes.

Girls? One little fight and they don’t talk for months.

They can beat eachother up and be cool in 5 minutes.

Touch a girl friend and your friendship is pretty much over.

They can talk crap to each other and never get mad.

One wrong comment to a girl and she’s crying telling you you’re mean.

They have each others backs and even have a motto “Bro’s before Ho*’s”

Girls choose bros before ho*s too. I hate it!

They do stupid things for each other, even if it means growing a huge ugly beard for 2 months like my friend Brandon did for his friends Bachelor party aka “Mustachio Bashio” in Vegas.

Girls would never sacrifice their ugliness for a friend.

I had to post Brandon’s ugly mustache, all to keep his Bromance alive. Love the dedication!

Bottom line, I wish more girls were as dedicated to their friendships as men are. Men really do stick together, I guess I would too if the only other option was women, sorry girls but guys are better friends! And Nardo, I am so glad this event has arrived, can’t wait to see your face again!

This is a classic case of survival vs replication, a topic I’m very passionate about.

Because the primordial purpose is to protect, Men butt heads in order to find their place in their tribe (always in an attempt to become the leader). When they do, they create leadership roles to manage the tribe with specific ranks and survival mechanisms. This dynamic requires cooperation which fosters great friendships and fellowships.

Based on the average male sperm count, it would only physically require 7 men (according to National Geographic) to impregnate enough women to repopulate the earth to its current numbers. That’s roughly 3 BILLION women to 7 men! Clearly the survival of women is more important to replication.

Since Women have higher replication value, and as such require Mens natural survival instinct for protection, they become competitive for the attention of tribal leaders. This is why men typically grade women primarily on their health indicators (beauty is the subconscious application of a mathematical formula based on the golden ratio) and why women grade men on their power, money, and fame (which are indicators of their survival ability). Obviously this means that the most attractive women want the attention of the most powerful men. This is why women don’t make good friends. They’re need for survival creates a level of cattiness which other women cannot trust.

If you’re interested to learn more about this theory I have a book for you Amanda

I’m glad that in my experience, my friendships with women are not typical. I am the youngest and only girl in my family. Having three older brothers, I subconsciously seeked other chicks who weren’t ‘chicky’ – I have four best friends whom I’ve been friends with since 2nd grade. We have survived puberty together, boyfriends, proms, other cliques, we get stupid together, NEVER EVER have we chosen a guy over our girlfriends. EVER. we tease each other all the time, etc. I’m sure my friends are the exception to the rule but I agree with you, I wish more women were like men when it came to their friendships.
