I can’t quite seem to get enough of Sin City! Sometimes I think I should move there… I don’t know, that would be pretty wild. I almost moved there 2 years ago to work at the Playboy club, but I figured I might get sick of stuffing 2 bras with 4 socks every night. I also get really home sick anytime I leave San Diego, so yeah… so much for that idea. Anyway back to Vegas I go, this time for the Jamie Foxx concert. Woohoo!
One of my good friends has known Foxx for a while so he concert hops with him on occasion, and invited me along. I was excited for the experience, considering it is one not many get to have! The entire trek to Vegas I had to listen to crazy rap deals being made tho… the entertainment business really is insane! I just put on headphones and tried to watch a movie. It didn’t really work though, because the head phones were made for a 90 lb head so I gave up. Way too big. Anyway, we arrived to Vegas, and immediately hit up the Palms pool for a bit. My friend Brandon works at Jet out there so I ran into him at the pool as well! Love B, he’s the best host! Ladies if you ever need a Jet hookup, Brandon is your guy

Anyway, a bit after I ran into Brandon, my friend Heather met up to join us. Heather is a feisty little Asian that lives out in Vegas. Super fun to be around, when she is not texting of course… So Heather met up with us, along with a few others and we all got ready for dinner at N9ne Steakhouse inside the Palms Hotel. YUM!
We just got appetizers and cocktails, my cocktail of choice? The $20 Pink Pussycat. Pink champagne with pink floating ice cubes
Dream Drink come true! We rushed through dinner because the concert was at 9, so we jammed over to Caesars to get the party started.
First of all Jamie Foxx’s audience is SUPER random! Old people, single moms, groupies screaminnnnng his name, young cute girls, couples, etc etc… I was surprised to see how many older couples were there. It is cool that he is so well liked. Even my grandma called to tell me how much she loved him ha ha. We had really good seats, maybe 10 rows back or so, and he was a good performer. Great voice in person.
After the concert we got backstage and got to hangout in his dressing room. He came in the room and tossed his Louis V glasses on the table, I had to control myself from grabbing them to snap a pic
He chatted with us for about 30 minutes, telling us stories and just hangin out, before we headed over to Lavo for the after party.
It really was weird sitting next to a celebrity… the entire night people are staring, snapping pictures and yelling at him.
There were sooooo many floozies around him also, I can’t believe how aggressive girls are! I sat right next to him and kept quiet unless I was spoken to ha ha. Heather and I had a blast, they had workers come out in pink boxing outfits with the Cristal bottles, which was cute and unique. I believe the total Cristal bottle count was 120?? RIDIC!
After that weekend I was for sure jaded! I had to check myself back into reality, no wonder I get pissed off when bouncers try to charge me $20 bucks to get into a boring San Diego club… Vegas corrupted me
As fun as it was, it made me thankful I am not famous, that bottle poppin/groupie life must get exhausting!

Oh girl tell me about it! I once worked for a music producer and it was the worst! The industry is so corrupted and fake. I had to get out! I was out 1 month later and never again wished to be famous!
I love Vegas too, I call it my second home. Oh and SD and their bouncers…crazy! I remember the days when just being hot was enough to get in and treated like a VIP. Now, when I visit Cali, the damn bouncer at the whiskey girl wants to charge me 20! I think the only place that still treats me good is side bar….boo

I’m just going to keep on saying it till u do it.. MOVE HERE TO VEGAS NOW!!! u been in SD all your life. and we all know Vegas loves u and u love it!
come rendezvous. Yeopp. and she forgot to mention ppl who comes to visit Las Vegas especially the British are mentally and physically retarded.. ahhh ha ha.. i just couldn’t resist myself mention about that FOOOL
. Amanda I’m being serous about U moving here.. We and (I’m speaking for Vegas as a third person) need a girl like you, its hard to find strong independent intellectual here.. I hate to say but there not that much cultivated people. and i think this would be a good challenge for U and you know you’ll have a lot more amusing time waking up to Vegas than to your daily chores of a boring job u got back home. try LV out for a bit if u don’t think its a fit; its still an easy transformation to get back to your old routines in SD.. ur only a few hours away anyways.. so why not try Vegas
and beside with your outlook and the way you are I’M POSITIVE YOU’LL MAKE DOUBLE THE MONEY
i hope some of my insight and erudite words can get you excited enough to move or at-least put some more thought into it.. XOXO muah. 3 kisses.
your lovely feisty little Asian, (hahahahjsdjfsjdfjskjf)
