Ok so most of you already know I spent the past weekend in San Fran, I posted below about my trip on the way up, this is part 2… the actual trip in full detail.

So once we finally arrived to San Francisco, Meggan Herd picked us up to take us to her house to get ready for the night. We had dinner plans with some of her guy friends so we jammed home to shower and get ready. Meggan is currently in dental school at University of Pacific and lives in on campus housing. It was funny being 25 and staying in the dorms all over again. We got ready quickly and headed out for dinner and drinks in the city. We ended up going to Mas Sake a Sushi restraint in the city. We had a chicken teriyaki roll that was delicious and of course Sake. I wish all sushi came this way! Cooked chicken, avocado and rice, my sushi dream come true.

We even did the “everyone have their ID?” Check and of course I forgot it. I left it in my carry on L Good thing we headed back home because my stupid shoe broke. Meggan was convinced that she could bustle it back together with her dental tools and it actually worked. We were dying laughing at the time, it was just really funny that she was tipsy drilling my shoe so I could glue it back together. RIP cage shoes :( Meggan fixing my shoeWe then headed out to Slide, some nightclub there that was FULL of mean Asians! It is called Slide because it has an actual slide inside of the club. We wanted to go down it however you must be wearing pants. At first we didn’t understand the whole pants rule until we realized there are probably gross girls out there who don’t wear underwear with dresses and yeah that wouldn’t be a good idea. Anyway…

Some nerdy guy bought us a drink the instant we got inside, which he thought meant he got to talk to us all night. Of course I felt bad for the four eyed fella and ended up sympathy talking to him for way longer than I should have. He told me that he actually was just in San Diego for comic con, yeahhhh figures. Eventually I had to just walk away because he was that bad of a clinger. Guys: Buying one drink doesn’t mean we have to talk to you just fyi ha ha.

Anyway, we had to be up early Saturday morning to go wine tasting, so I didn’t want to be out too late. We headed home back to Meggan’s dorm and called it a night. It was rough waking up the next morning. Meghan Wersel was picking us up at 9:30am because the drive to Napa was about one hour. I made the mistake of telling everyone to wear some form of yellow, because at the last second I had a yellow crisis. My entireeeeeee closet is yellow yet I ended up hating everything I packed. I ended up wearing some yellow moomoo that made me look like I was 789 lbs. I made everyone wait in the car as I frantically tried to get dressed. I got to that point where I just didn’t care and got in the car.

We drove to Napa and finally arrived to the Twins house (So weird how many people live up here now!) where the bus was picking us up. We pull up to their house and see this HUGE crazy party bus, we had no idea it would be that big. I guess the guy said that the smaller one broke down so we got the bigger one for the same price. The bus was awesome, nice and clean and totally pimped out ha ha. We had the NICEST driver ever who totally took care of anything we wanted.Napa Wine Toursnapa wine tours

We popped in a ghetto cd, popped some champagne and off we went. The wine tasting stops weren’t the best… since we were part of a tour, they picked the wineries for us. The first few were awfulllll, boring lectures about wine, I was confused why anyone liked wine tasting, but we finally told the bus driver we hated the stops and wanted to go to a more fun one. He figured out a way to get us into some better ones so we stopped at one nice one, and then to my favorite one by far, Chandon, the champagne place so I was as happy as can be.

We had a cheese plate and their sweetest bottle, and after that decided to head home. Half the girls were in wild party mode and wanted to booze more so we picked up some more for them. Since they got the champagne, we pitched in to get their favorite booze…….Coors Light, ewwwwwww. I was so mad I even had to carry a 12 pack! I think that was my first time buying one. You can tell from the pic I was not a happy camper.coors light

We get back to the twins house, eat a little, play with their cuteeeeeee cuteeeeeeee dogs and then some girls decide to go swimming. Everyone decided to go out to a local bar after swimming but me, Meghan, and Andrea decided to stay in and watch movies. I am so old I really don’t like to drink that much anymore! We watched the Wedding Planner and passed out.golden retrievers

Everyone came home at like 2 am soooo noisy of course, all I remember is hearing Melissa was eating butter and someone kept calling her a butter face. We finally got back to sleep and woke up the next morning ready to head back to the city. Wersel drove us back and then we got ready at her house so we could all meet up for a nice Sunday lunch down by the water in San Francisco.

We had lunch on Pier 23 at some little place that had the rudest waitress ever! I asked her if they had any drink specials and she snapped at me “NOPE” She came back 10 minutes later like “Actually we do have specials, mojitos, bloody marys…” When I asked how much she replied, “I don’t know”, she was a total rude mess. She was just mad she wasn’t our friend ;)

We finished up lunch and decided to start our own pub crawl around the city. They girls wanted me to ride the bus because they thought I would freak out, but I kept my cool. san francisco bus

They didn’t know I used to ride the bus to Pacific Beach when I was 14 with Kinsey. We would walk to the bus stop with BOOGIE BOARDS and go to the beach ahahah. Anyway, we took the bus back to the bar area and hit up a few places… Rouge, Bar None and then the Tipsy Pig. Tipsy Pig San Francisco

I loved the name of the place ha ha…I actually ran into a guy I went to a wedding with once. Was super random! What was even MORE random is that when I told him that I was with all my college sorority GF’s, he asked me what house, and when I said AXO @ SDSU he said he did the food for them now. He owns the company that provides them with chefs. Small world!

We ate some delicious pretzel bread and then headed to one final bar. I decided I spent way too much money already and I was ready to go home. Plus all my friends were drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon 1.00 beer and I would nnnnevvvver. So I walked myself home to Cristina’s house and passed out. Once I saw that it was 2:00am I began getting worried because they weren’t home yet. Finally they blew through the door at 2:30am after apparently falling asleep at the bar. Cristina tells me she just woke up at the bar and even had a dream there ahahhahaahah wow. Love my crazy friends.

The next morning we went to Andrea’s neighborhood to grab lunch and to shop around town. Hillary even came out!

It really is wild how many of my college gf’s live in San Francisco now. Meghan W. Meggan H. Tina, An, Meghan L. Hillary…so weird! No wonder I have such a small posse these days, all my girls moved home. Anyway, we ate lunch at this cute place called Toast and then walked around and shopped. We were in this small gift shop because Melissa Rauch wanted a magnet………yeah I know shes weird, but anyway, we are in the back looking at “Grow a Hoe” dolls when we hear this HUGE CRASH, we look around the corner and an entire display was knocked over. We couldn’t believe it, books, tables, toys, all over the floor. I saw a man in a motorized wheelchair hauling ass out the door so I wondered if he did it on purpose or accident. Turns out this guy is known for causing trouble in the area and the store owner actually had a restraining order on this fool. He is super scary looking, I first saw him sitting outside in his custom “Blondie” wheelchair, he had a wipe board in his lap and he was writing creepy messages. I didn’t even wanna deal with him so I kept going. Apparently he grabs and harasses people all day long. SO nuts! Check this creep out!

photoThe store owner called the cops but we left before we got to see the end results. The guy totally knocked it over on purpose, the owner said hes done it tons of times before. The craziest part was after he knocked it over, and after he hauled ass down the street, he stopped one block away like no big deal. Interesting Monday in the city to say the least. I was definitely exhausted after this weekend so I was eager to head back home.

After a weekend in a different city, I am more than ready to return to my life in San Diego. I don’t know what it is, but people are not rude in San Diego the way people in San Fran were. I am not sure if it is because we were in a group of about 14 cute girls or what, but all of San Francisco was mean to us. Seriously this entire weekend EVERYONE was rude. Anyway I am on the plane, have an entire isle to myself and am glad to almost be home.

Overall an awesome reunion. Anyway, I typed an essay on the plane just now, so I will hush. Enjoy the pics :) sorority reunion napa valley

im pretty sure you caught hell from people because you were rolling deep with a billion girls. SF has always been good to me.

and i loved Slide when i went. people were actually there to DANCE. and as someone who doesnt drink i appreciate a good dance club. not just a bar/lounge with a dance floor. i dont remember seeing like ANY asians when i was there though. weird.

i like that 12-pack pic. haha.

yeah i went like two years ago. the reason i liked slide was because hardly anyone had drinks out on the floor. everyone was just dancing. i hate clubs where people are half ass dancing, while babying their drinks. its just like, please gtfo.

you shouldve fought some asians. we dont all know karate. only some of us.
