So last night was the saddest day of my life. Not really but you get the point… My best friend sends me a text at 8pm that said, “Are you by a helicopter?” I didn’t understand what that meant so I replied huh? I knew she was in Vegas so I assumed she just wanted me to jam out there with her, little did I know she was sitting at N9ne steakhouse eating dinner, being invited to Nelly’s private concert at Rain. It was like she texted me that she caught my boyfriend cheating. My heart sunk. Dramatic I know, but you have no idea how much I love Nelly! Call me a groupie, call me whatever you want I don’t care, I love him. Considering it was 8:30pm and I was at a BBQ in PB, I had 3 hours to make it to Vegas. Was this possible?

So I run to the computer of the house we were at and hit up Southwest.com… please please please let there be a flight left pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee….
Nope, nothing. All flights from SD were departed. Great. Of course. I can go see Nelly and I am stuck in stupid San Diego. Ok so then I hit up Orbitz.com, americanairlines.com, unitedairlines.com etc etc. I searched every single airline and the ONLY flight leaving SD to Vegas was at 9pm and I wouldn’t even arrive until 12am after stopping in HOUSTON first. Um no thanks. Keep in mind I am in flats and spandex at this point, I was in no condition to be Nelly chasing.
So I pouted the entire night and cried to my friends. Everyone at the BBQ def thought I was so annoying and thirsty for Nelly but again, whatever. Anyway my BFF was on Nelly patrol and spent the entire night with her Flip camera recording Nelly for me

I’m so sorrrrrrrrrry pal …. I too feel like I caught your boyfriend cheating!! I’ll work harder and buy a private jet so disasters like this will never happen again! If it helps at all, after all these years I finally GET your love for Nelly. Before this close encounter (close enough to be sweat on by his million person entourage, but not close enough to wave your picture in his face from my iPhone)… I didn’t really see why you loved Nelly more than any other thug. But Nelly has a grove pal, and puts on an amazing show. PLUS he was drinking champagne from the bottle throughout his performance…. one of our all time favorrrrrrite reckless behaviors! that comment made me even more sad. to know you finally approve of my marriage to nelly, and to know i missed yet another chance to confess my groupie love breaks my heart
