So it was my good friend Scott’s b-day today, but we celebrated last night at Nobu and Hard Rock downtown. If you haven’t been to Nobu yet, its something everyone should do once, but only once unless you can afford it ahah. I think our tab ended up being $1,200.00 bucks for about 10 people. They try to average $100 bucks a person which they clearly did. I only ordered soup but by the time I ended up buying drinks for people and myself I spent about 80. Luckily the bartender took a few drinks off so I think I ended up paying 30 bucks. Nice!

I guess Scott asked the waiter to just order a few of his favorite dishes, but to try and keep it around 60 a person. They had tons of sushi and different yummy dishes. I tried some of the fried shrimp, it was ok, a little too greasy for me. However, their miso soup was delicious.

I ordered a few different random cocktails to try out, I am friends with the bartender there so he knew what drinks I liked. He even made me a champagne orange/pineapple drink. mmm. I also asked him to make me a fun “guy” shot for the bday boy and he came up with some margarita shot that had chili flakes in it! All the people at the bar were asking what it was! I think we increased the sales of that shot that night

After we finished up dinner, we decided to head upstairs to “Float” Hard Rock’s “new” club upstairs. It used to be called Moonstone but they had all new managers and staff come through and kind of mix things up. It is pretty much the same as Moonstone but with hotter girls working. 3 or 4 of them are some of my good friends, so it is always fun coming to see them! Megan is a bartender and Michelle and Erin are cocktailers. All so cute! The entire staff wears blue bikinis even at night!

Since I used to work here my buddy Jeff let us all in, it was so nice of him. Normally getting a group of 12 guys and girls would be hard so I was glad he was nice about it. We went upstairs and got a few more drinks and hung out. My goal of the night was to get Scott a new girlfriend. I decided that it would be fun to lie and tell people he was the owner of a club downtown to see if that would increase girls interest in him. He had severe ADD though so we never got to carry out my plan. Another pic pretty similar to the above one though. I am so bad about taking pics.

As usual I was old and tired and wanted to go home… I got home and again as usual wanted to eat. I heated up a Lean Cuisine pizza like a pig and ate it the instant it left the microwave. This resulted in me buring an entire 3 layers OFF my lips because the hot cheese burned my lips. How embarrassing. My lips look like I have a nasty disease, all because I couldn’t wait one minute for it to cool off. Lesson learned.

Overall a fun filled weekend! Happpppy BDAY SCOTT! PS- Ian bailed after 1 hour like a total fool!!!!!!!
