So I have always heard detoxes are good for your body to kinda re boost/ clean things out. Have any of you tried any that you love? There are SO many on the Internet you never know which ones are bearable and which are sketch/don’t work… I am interested in hearing which ones you have tried??! Leave a comment with the one’s you have tried!

The best one that is actually good for your system is by Dr. Schultz Formula 1 and 2 or a detox from Blessed Herbs. Just make sure once you start that it is a weekend and you can stay somewhere close to your bathroom
Jared owns two health companies, that is why I know any and everything about health stuff.

i have done a few different ones, here is what i’ve tried (in order) and what they did for me. I’m warning you, it may be a little graphic, but hey, we’re talking about Poopasaurus Rex here.
Whole Body Cleanse (bought at GNC)-

years ago, this kit cost me closer to $40. i was intent on doing it correctly, which meant no drinking, little or no red meat, and all the other not-fun stuff. it took me about 6 months to find a period of time where i could “pretty much” quit drinking. i didn’t notice much difference during or after this program. felt like i was just taking a bunch of unnecessary pills.
The second one I bought was called “7 Day Cleanse”, and I am unable to find it on the internet. THIS IS NOT HYDROXYCUT 7 DAY CLEANSE, I realize this is probably what comes up first on a Google search. That and a few others are what I can find, I purchased mine at Target (love Target BTW), for about $7 and it was the best one I’ve tried. The drink mix portion was NOT enjoyable, and maybe not the best for someone who can’t drink gross stuff, but overall it did it’s job. There was no fire to attend to, but when I was ready to go, 7 Day Cleanse was there with the assist.
The third one I tried was a kit from Trader Joe’s. Since it is impossible to find anything from them on the internet, I cannot post. Just know it is a box of pills, relatively gentle exit strategy, and a decent price. It was also interesting when the cashier decided to tell me HER experience with this particular detox kit.
My most recent one has made me a little gun shy to the whole detox process.

I actually inherited this from a friend, Sir Rathole. After a couple days taking the pills himself, he swore off of it after a near-miss involving the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), and his bowels. This stuff really is no joke, it tells YOU when you’re going to need a bathroom break. From my experience, 3-4 times a day, EASILY. I think our receptionist thought I picked up a bathroom coke habit because of my frequent trips. Taking (I think) nine of these pills a day for weeks on end really is a test. I would have to break my cycle about a day and a half before hockey nights, because no one wants an unfortunate accident out on the rink if they get laid out by a monster hit.
So proceed with caution. A big part of it depends on how sensitive your stomach is. I’d recommend starting before a mellow weekend, that way you have a few days to adjust to the new you, and if it is too much, you have some time to recover before you have to head back to the office on Monday with a 45 minute high-speed monorail commute.
