So girls have been wondering what make up looks they can try out for hot Summer days. You know, when you don’t want to cake on the make up but still want to look put together. One product I love is a tinted moisturizer by Boots Botanicals. I get mine at Target for about $6 bucks. It is basically a face lotion with some color to it. I like it because it has enough color to it to wear alone to the pool or beach without looking like a clown.

In the tinted moisturizer, I get the color: Sweet Ginger but I spray tan my face often so careful, this might be too tan for you. The key to all summer looks is creating that all over bronzed, clean look. To get this you really need to take great care of your skin, make sure its healthy and even.
You should also make sure you are wearing a daily lotion with SPF in it. Again the one I use is Avon ANEW ALTERNATIVE Intensive Age Treatment SPF 25. I love the texture and consistency of it. If you are getting the day one, you might as well pick up the night one too. Super good to use before bed, helps with dark circles and puffiness. It is great because it doesn’t burn or irritate my skin!
Use both these products to help jump start that Summer look. Click the top pic to purchase the way my mom gets mine! They old lady sell it at her work or something. I just go home and steal it all ![]()

Another Avon product I loveeee is their Juice Gems gloss. It lasts forever and is a good thickness. Not too thick, not too thin. One tube has lasted forever for me also! I have it in “Juicy Honeydew” mmmm so yum. It is pretty clear but a hint of pearly color to it. I want to try “Juicy Pomegranate” next. Buy one get one free right now I saw online! Click the glosses for the site.
I have not tried these yet but they look like fun for girls who might not know how to apply eyeshadow well, or just not have time. I read all about them and it says they don’t smudge or crease and last all day according to girls that have tried it. I love anything creamy and satin looking and these look like they would be! I am going to try out the Coco one and let you know how i like it.
For girls that want to create more of a look, and not just an easy grab and go method, MAC has tons of cute bright colored eye shadow, a little goes a long way. You got to be careful that you don’t over do it though because you could end up looking like a clown. The key to it working is balancing it out with the rest of my outfit. If you wear a bright eyeshadow you don’t want to wear a bright outfit also. I would wear a solid color outfit, like white or something simple, then pair it with a bright shadow or gloss. Depending on the outfit you could wear bright colored clothing also, but you wouldn’t wanna do neon all over obviously.
Here are some summer looks I love!

This make up style can be used with any color you’d like. Rihanna’s is a bit dressier with the black liner on the top lid. Both looks are the same just choose if you want black liner or not.
For this look you will need tanned skin. I would try a sunless tanner for your face or get a spray tan. Tan skin makes every look better. Also you will need a highlighter for under your brow, and one main color for your lid. My favorite highlighter color is Nylon by Mac. If that is too shiny for you, use less or try Shroom.
1. Start with a MAC Paint. Cover your entire lid with this.I use Bare Canvas. It is a creme color and you can use it for all colors of shadow.
2. Use a fluffy brush to highlight under your eyebrow with Nylon or another sheer white/creme color. Apply from crease to eyebrow.
3. Add your color. Just a bit… tap the brush off to ensure you have a good amount. Start in your crease, slowly go back and forth from one end to the other in your crease with the bright color. The more you add, the brighter it will be…
4. You can stop here and just apply mascara to get Adriana’s look, but in the picture of Rhianna, she lines her top lid with a black liquid eyeliner. Careful bc this can get messy. I do mine from the start of my eye all the way to about 1cm past the end of my eye to create a bit more width.
5. For the bottom liner, I would use the skinny eyeshadow brush and Black eyeshadow to line it. You want it to be smokey looking, a pencil is too bold for this look. USE: Black MAC color called: CARBON

6. Once you line the top with liquid and the bottom with the shadow, now apply mascara. Again my all time fave is Loreal Double Extend in BLACK. It makes lashes SOOO long and never ever clumpy! Apply the white to top and bottom first, then the black coat. I do two of each.

7. Once you are done with your eyes, I then take face wipes and clean up any extra mess under the eyes. I alwaysss apply foundation LAST. So clean up, then apply a bit of face lotion if you wiped any off.
8. Apply foundation or sheer tint and a bit of powder if needed.
9. Bronzer is a must! Again I love MAC’s Refined Golden. Apply in the shape of a 3, starting at your eye loop to your cheek and then back down to your chin in a reverse 3 if that makes sense
10. Finish alllllllll make up with MAC’s FIX PLUS. It is one of my favorite products ever. It holds the make up in place and sets it. It brightens the colors and makes everything not look so dry. Mist over your face a few times but not too much! 1-2 squirts
11. Finish also with a gloss, I love corals, pinks and clears right now for Summer! Try MAC’s Bountiful its a plumper and a good basic gloss.
HOT SUMMER COLORS:
Coral, yellow, orange, blue, pink, purple, green. Basically all colors but in a deep bright hue!
